What can I say about Captain Jeff that hasn't already been said in his 200+ flawless Trip Advisor reviews? Well for one, I would not have been able to execute my engagement plans without his help!

I decided that I needed a more romantic moment to pop the question instead of just day drinking and dropping to a knee on South Beach, so I gave Captain Jeff a call after reading through all of his rave reviews. He immediately answered, I was able to book a private 2 hour sunset cruise, and he happily agreed to help with my proposal.

On the night of the cruise, my girlfriend and I were running late because our hotel would not let us check-in early. Captain Jeff waited patiently and reassured us that we would be okay. As we sailed into the bay, Captain Jeff really helped set the mood by sharing some of his hilarious stories, playing a little background music, and providing a complimentary bottle of white wine.

And then it was time. My girlfriend and I made our way to the front of Good Karma as the sun set, and Captain Jeff was able to record the perfect video of our special moment, take several stunning photos, and share them with us. I can't thank Captain Jeff enough for making our engagement a huge success and a night we will never forget!

A great way to spend the afternoon! Sailing with Captain Emiliano on SV Good Karma was a blast. We were lucky enough to see a catamaran race up close. And there is lots to see on the Bay. Sailing on the Biscayne Bay is cool because although the wind was strong the Biscayne Bay doesn’t get big waves, so we were able to sail fast and I wasn’t seasick. SV Good Karma is a lovely sailboat and feels very safe and stable. The owner Captain Jeff is great, I am seriously considering flying down from Michigan take sailing classes from him this spring. Captain Emiliano was the best, he was a great host and we had so much fun. All in all it was a great experience and a great escape from the city. We did the afternoon four hour sail and I am very thankful we chose the longer option. I would have happily been on the water...

We were looking forward to a birthday sailing adventure over the weekend but it ended up being pretty disappointing. The moment the captain met us at the dock, before anything, he asked us if we received our Covid vaccine and proceeded to lecture us on where we can get the vaccine in the Miami area. Vaccinated or not, this should not be the first encounter and it definitely created an uncomfortable environment. If this was part of the Captains procedure, it should of been communicated prior. The boat and the areas we sailed to were beautiful but the we felt like we were walking on eggshells most of the trip. We made the best of it & had good laughs but I wouldn’t choose this charter again. He may have been having a bad day, and if he was than sorry, but I paid money and was hoping for an all around...
