My family and I which consisted of 2 adults and 3 children went to Glass and Vine for dinner last night and the service was absolutely abhorrent. We were seated in a dark corner opposite the park at night which was odd because the restaurant was not busy and we could have been seated virtually anywhere. We requested to be moved and we were seated in yet another dark corner and offered dusty table lamps when we brought it to our waitress' attention. We placed our orders for food and drinks as normal. Upon further review we realized that some our glasses were dirty and had food particles. The waitress seemed to be moving around everywhere in the restaurant with little to no interest in serving us. She never came out with our drink orders or additional napkins that we requested and had to be reminded. When I asked her about our drinks she simply said "Oh I forgot" "Do you still want your drinks" as though being given drinks that we ordered was a courtesy. After several minutes she comes out with our drinks. All the children were served in regular glasses instead of children's cups which was also odd because there were previous reviews with said cups on display and photographed. My son was served his lemonade in a large adult glass that had food particles stuck to his glass again. My mule consisted of ice, lemonade, a jalapeño and a splash of gingerale, which was terrible. We requested to have the drinks comped and were given the check. With consideration that it is Miami off season we had the expectation that gratuity would be tacked on however being asked to pay 20% gratuity for such underwhelming service if you could call it that was extremely disappointing. We spoke to the manager on duty (or acting manager on duty because it was not the woman in the photograph on the website) and she snidly, smiled and remarked "I'm sorry that you felt you didn't receive good service. I don't think I have ever been treated so poorly and it's a shame because the restaurant has so much potential to be great. There was another patron sitting at the bar with her dog that received better service than we did! My family and I frequent Miami as we have extended family that live and do business here but this will not be an establishment that I recommend or will be...
Read more2025 oh my glass and vine has absolutely changed itself! Starting with the service.
Went on a Friday night with reservations - definitely call ahead for reservations.
There was delightful live jazz. I asked Peyton to seat us away from the music, and she found the absolute best place in town! Not a lot of traffic, and perfectly distanced to make conversation easy!
Santiago served us, he was the best at suggestions and at service. One note, the water glasses might as well have been shot glasses, might ask for larger water glasses. They have pint glasses available.
The Woodford reserve old fashion was one of the best I've had.
Continuing with the beet appetizer/starter. Decent, and different.
Then the mains
Had the mahi and the salmon. Both were delicious! The mahi was finished in various beans, it was the best I've recently had. Small serving but absolutely wonderful. The salmon was also fabulous. If I were to only pick one it would be the mahi.
Then the dessert. Turns out I went on my birthday. The manager Mark came by to say hello and greet us in delivering a bread pudding dessert with a candle on top! A must have! Skip the coffee though 🙂
My wish? For peace.
Wish I had pictures to share. Delightful evening! I will definitely be going back
Peyton, Santiago, and Mark, thank you for your service! You are all awesome.

2021 First up: the place is beautiful! The way they've done the trees is breathtaking. And the park is right next door! Be sure to walk out by the water's edge if you wind up in the area.
Now the rest.
In my experience The food was not very good at all. In fact the appetizers were so much less than our expectations that we didn't even order a main meal.
The cost was I thought definitely high for what was served.
The atmosphere was very not healthy. We went during a second wave of Covid here in Miami, not the best time to go anywhere I know.
But we were there.
None of the servers that we saw wore a mask. The tables were tightly packed, to the point where walking between tables in getting to our table resulted in bumping into people.
I might try it again someday, but...
Read moreWow, what a wonderful experience yesterday. I was having a delicious lunch in a beautiful park in Coconut Grove with oak trees all around and greenery everywhere you sit. There are paved walkways to wander around on. They are pet friendly. There is no inside dining here. There are tables on several different levels that are a step above the last level. The flooring is like cobblestones but easy to walk on. The bar is conveniently located at the highest level with good views of Peacock Park. They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner. We loved it! The setting is unlike any other restaurant in Miami. Very unique and inviting.
Our server was Maura, who was one of the sweetest and nicest servers we have met in a long time. She had great recommendations and knew the menu thoroughly. She was attentive throughout, and our water glasses were filled at the halfway mark promptly. She is a gem! There was a minimal wait for our orders. The service is great here.
I ordered the Brick Roasted Half Chicken, which was on the small side but plenty for lunch. It was seasoned with rosemary, and the skin was thin and crispy. Delicious, juicy, and tender! It came with delicious roasted finger potatoes. An herbed yogurt sauce accompanied the meal. I was very happy with Maura's recommendation.
My daughter ordered the Chicken & Black Truffled Gnocchi. She loved it. I tasted one potato Gnocchi, and it was awesome! Maura highly recommended this dish also. Perfectly prepared with bacon and parmesan.
For dessert, we shared the Mile High Chocolate Cake with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries. It was out of this world delicious!
It was one of the best lunches that we had in a long time! We will definitely return very soon.
There is street parking, but you need to drive around until someone leaves. A short walk away is a large parking lot for Peacock Park...
