While the osso buco is famously delicious, this Parrillada proved that Ossobuco excels in all their grilled offerings. However, the dining experience wouldn't have been complete without Danny's outstanding service. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about every item on the menu (including the special details of the Parrillada), and genuinely enthusiastic about making our evening special. Read moreI had an amazing experience at Ossobuco in Coconut Grove! First of all, the drinks were absolute perfection. Huge shoutout to Ibrahim, the bartender, for crafting one of the best lychee martinis I’ve ever had—it was smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced.
The food was just as impressive. The Ossobuco Croquetas were rich and flavorful, with the perfect crispy exterior. The Sweet & Sour Cauliflower? A total game-changer—crispy, tangy, and just the right touch of sweetness. The Beef Tartare was absolutely phenomenal—fresh, expertly seasoned, and served with just the right accompaniments to enhance every bite. The Steak and Eggs were cooked to perfection—juicy and packed with flavor. The Pulpo a la Parrilla was another standout—tender with a beautiful char and bursting with rich, smoky goodness.
For the main, my husband and I shared the Prime New York Strip, and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked, with a deep, savory flavor and a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
And here’s the insider tip: ask for the meat tacos! They’re not on the regular menu, but they are absolutely worth it. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—they’ll have you planning your next visit before you even leave.
I also have to mention the service—it was outstanding. I regret not remembering the name of our server because he was amazing. He’s Peruvian and has a Cuban wife, which we remember because he made us laugh so much with his stories. He truly made the experience even more memorable.

Read moreThis new location by Ossobuco is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive and professional all the way around. Danny, a great server, knows his shish and keeps it all-pro while still being enjoyable to converse with. Not like some of these servers who act like futuristic robots with hard drives for brains that only refill water and drop off plates and recite menu items and descriptions like they are reading Mother Goose poems to 3 year old babies that they want to lull to sleep so that they can take the tooth fairy money out of their diapers and use it to buy more robot vape juice. Danny is a real professional. And behind the bar there is Ibra. He is, I believe, the head bartender…and it is much deserved as he is a very innovative young man. He is Spanish first language, but the guy’s vibe and confidence conveys his message and passion well enough for even an English only group to have a splendid experience. He’s usually on the service bar making drinks for the floor, but you can’t miss him and he’s eager to show you what he’s got up his sleeve.
This location is definitely a step up from the location in Wynwood. Also parking is much simpler.
Go here prepared to spend, it’s not cheap, although there are some moderate options. But for a great dinner night out, it’s worth every penny...
