I was so excited to go to this place, because of the reviews, but I made a huge mistake, I went to get a mix of balayage and highlights, my hair type is a 2c never damaged, I wanted to do a change because I'm getting into my 40s and need a change,.always dye my hair black, well first of all the charge me almost $600, they left me with bleach on my hair for almost 4 hours, the result of the color was not what we had talked, next day my hair was breaking in half so bad, I never saw a balayage on my hair I only saw regular highlights, if they couldn't work with my hair they should say it from the beginning, after 3 weeks that they damaged my hair today finally I was able so see a little bit of what it was before, I felt they rip me off, I spend almost $600 to have my hair damaged, don't get me wrong the ladies are very friendly but the one who worked on my hair, she didn't know what she was doing.

I was going to be in Miami from out of town and came here after searching online for a place that could do my dark roots blonde to keep up with my previous color jobs. I'm getting married in Miami in the new year so it was essential that I find a solid colorist as I will need it done again a week before the wedding, so I was a little nervous. I emailed the salon in advance to inquire and make the appointment and Ellie was quick to respond and professional, recommending me to go with Shelby. I'd rate this salon 4.5 overall, just some minor improvements. Shelby did a fantastic job on my hair, matching my color and even blending it better than it had been and improving the tones. It was not a quick or simple job as I have very long and a lot of hair but she patiently did a full head of foils and toning and it came out really amazing. The only small issues were that she couldn't get started on me until 30 minutes after my appointment as the salon was pretty busy, and that it's a little bit tricky to find, tucked away in a side entrance in a building. Because I had an evening appointment the time ran a bit beyond closing so for my next one I made it during the day so we have plenty of time. Prices are fair and service was friendly.
