Zoom Wedding Studio — Local services in Miami

I hired Zoom Wedding Studio for my wedding photos in September 2023. It’s now Feb 2025 and it’s taken me a few years to write this review because I'm still heartbroken at the wedding photos that were delivered to me, or lack thereof.

When I first hired them my point of contact was always Helen. I assumed she would be the person taking my photos. At no point in time was I led to believe otherwise. I spoke to Helen in depth for weeks leading up to the wedding of exactly what I wanted as well as sent her a document detailing the photos that were a must. Photos like (a) a portrait of my husband and I, (b) my husband, our two boys, and myself (c) my two boys alone and with me, (e) photos of my parents. We got none of those.

I did NOT get ONE descent portrait photo of bride and groom facing the camera side by side……the most basic of all wedding photos. All the bride and groom photos had either blurry faces, mid-smiles or are of us kissing or facing each other.

Had my list been printed and referred to by the photographer we would’ve been able to check off the list the most important photos. The photographers who showed up were complete strangers. We had never met over the phone, via text, not through zoom. They did not have with them my detailed list of what I wanted. They had lack of command presence and barely spoke.

I did reach out to Zoom on several occasions after the wedding to communicate my disappointment and their response was that it was my fault. My fault because I apparently I told them I didn’t need anymore pictures of us around the church grounds. No that is not what happened. We had 20 minutes left in the session, it was raining and I asked the photographer if they think they got good pictures of us inside the church and at the altar. If so, then we can call it short 20 minutes. I was willing to let the photographers leave earlier than my allotted time because of the rain and trusted that they were the professionals and had all the pictures I had requested. I gave this company an itemized list of key photos to take, and they failed to deliver.

In trying to give them a chance to rectify this, they blamed me several times. I also had to chase them down for responses. I have all the emails to prove this. I could not in good faith trust them to re-take photos of us. This is as personal as it gets, and they blamed me for them not getting the most basic of wedding pictures.

I ended up hiring another photographer and re-took our wedding photos a month later. I had to get my entire family dressed up again just to capture a nice family photo.

I wrote this review with a clear mind years later. I am a simple person and my complaint is simple. Zoom did not take the most basic of wedding photos. The photographers did not check their pictures to make sure the ones they took had normal smiles and clear faces. We got no family photo of us and our two boys.

My wife and I are very happy that we chose Zoom Wedding Studio to capture our special day. The photography and videography team were excellent, and we are very much looking forward to seeing our pics and videos!! Our focus during our wedding day was admittedly somewhat scattered all over the place. The team at Zoom were polite, very patient with us, and kept us on task. We felt throughout the day that we were definitely in professional hands. One of the best things I can say is that while we know we are going to get some amazing photos and video from Zoom, we barely knew they were there!! They knew exactly how to get the job done while maintaining a background presence. A good friend of mine who flew in from New York for the wedding, and operates his own wedding photography/videography business, commented on what a great job he thought they were doing, as well as the awesome value that we got in the package that we purchased. Also, Helen in the office is extremely helpful & responsive, and helped us with any of our questions and needs in the time leading up to the wedding day. Poor service, no professionalism, wedding video graphed by a third party as hired videographer was out of town the day of wedding. Only notified two days before my wedding. My wedding video looks absolutely nothing like what they advertise. It honestly looks like I hired a high-school editing team to piece together. These beautiful video’s that they advertise is not the quality of work that I received. The quality is not even high def its all fuzzy . If I wasn’t so embarrassed by my wedding video I would upload to show the quality is not high def. My first look was lost, that file was corrupted but nothing before or after that was lost (make it make sense). They make you sign a contract acknowledging their work and their work is not what was given to me. Reached out for partial refund as work was done so a full refund would not be fair and no to this day no response.
