DC PIE CO. — Restaurant in Miami

Usually when I go to a place and am not fully satisfied with the food I start the review talking about the staff, lol.

The interior is nicely decorated with a rustic look.

The staff were great. Greeted at the door by thE host, the servers were attentive and friendly. They answered all of my questions about the food. We came during lunch because I got an offer in my email for 15% off lunch special. This is our first visit.

Our order was lunch special signature pie with beef Pepperoni and artichoke. The pizza was loaded with pepperoni, but wish it had more artichoke. Didn’t cAre much for the huge basil leaves, they came in a whole branCh and I had to cut off pieces so I can eat. The pizza tasted too salty in the beginning I thought it might have been the topping but I tasted the crust by itself and it was salty.

Our second order was the six piece chicken wings with blue cheese on the side. It came after the pizza and it wasn’t hot. It was warmish. Tasted good.

We also got the cannoli, they were good too.

If I had to rank this place it would be from the top 10, but would be in tenth place.

Note: the sodas come almost unsweetened , but the server told us it is supposed to be a healthy choice, that fine we added some sugar 😃.

The moist towelettes were a nice addition, don’t see it a lot nowadays.

They also don’t accept cash.

I went to Dc pie to celebrate Valentine’s with my co-workers and we had a wonderful experience, as always… first the delicious food, the celery and fennel, escarole, kale caesar and farro salads were a must! The crunchy and delicious pizza with meatballs and artichokes and the eggplant parmigiana has always seemed the richest to me, I always ask for it! Apart from the wonderful food, what I enjoyed the most was the attention we received from Oriana, the supervisor. I found it sooooo incredible that from her position she has treated us as if we were lifelong friends... she is a very talkative and sweet young woman, always smiling and really really kind… I saw her walking a lot from one side to the other but she always came to us to see if everything was okay. There is nothing that fills me with more pride than seeing a woman being a leader, I have always thought that the future and big positions are for women and it fills me with joy every time I see a woman being a manager. I also work in hospitality and knowing that Dc Pie now has a woman in charge makes me love this incredible restaurant much more!!! I wish you more success in the future. Wonderful food, drinks, music, staff, and above all, that beautiful young lady....
