I'm leaving this review because I tried reporting this to manager and corporate but nothing. I see the owner reads and responds.
Well I extremely upset with an employee that works there because this evening I tried to purchase a jacket that was on sale but was missing tag. I told her I can grab another jacket with tag so she can ring it up but she said no let my manager do cause she needs to do something. Well the manager i guess read her a code for jacket. When cashier told me price I tried explaining to her that it was on sale and not that price, and showed her that I was wearing same kind of jacket just different color. I explained to her I was just in there the other day and price registered for same jacket as the sale that was posted on the wall and online. She told me to bring it up online then. I ask why wouldn't she just go look at sign but she said that the sign was for a different color and wouldnt go look at sign in store. So I was trying to find my exact jacket online but it was taking me a while, so she pulls up a jacket that online for more money. I was tired of arguing and being there so long because it was taking me to long to find item, so I just paid over priced payment thinking maybe I was wrong. I got home and found my same jacket online for price i told her and showing at Michigan City store...just as the sign read in store. I called store and same cashier picked up phone. I explained to her I found it online and it was as I said. She told me no I was wrong and my jacket was not the same and she couldn't do anything anyway now. I tried to explain to her she was charging me price of a different color jacket and she said stop yelling at me. I got confused because I wasn't yelling or even really as angry yet. I told her I'm not yelling but she was wrong about the color and she hung up the phone. I was mad now and she forced me to have to drive from laporte to Michigan city immediately because it was 8pm and you all close at 9pm on Friday. I got to store and when cashier saw me she yelled go talk to my manager, who was standing next to her. I explained to manager what happened and manager kept blaming herself for problem. I explained to her the reason I was upset was because her employee acted out some scene, pretending as if I'm yelling at her so she can rudely hang up on me. The manager said it was her fault about the price, ignoring what i just told her. The manager corrected the price but it wasn't even as much as the gas it took me to drive back to store. And what annoys me most, nobody ever apologized and ignored that she hung up on me forcing me to have to drive back to store for something the cashier was wrong about. She was so persistent to over charge me. I tried to call corporate after to report this but they said they only deal with online orders. That cashier was so rude in the store and like a troll on the phone. She could careless that she just spent so much time arguing, wrongly over charged me, and rudely hanging up on me forcing me to drive all the way back for something she was wrong about.
I hope u read this and address this issue because this could of so easily been avoided but you all have a cashier that can't emotionally handle being wrong. Also the manager needs to address the issue instead of just blaming herself when all could of been avoided if cashier just listened. The cashiers rude behavior and unwillingness to hear customer is worse than time, gas, and inconvenience it costed me because all of them things were just the aftermath.
I listened to her even when she was wrong but she would not listen to me even after realizing I was right...smh
I understand you all may be under staffed but will someone just PLEASE address this so this doesn't happen to anyone else. I love khols deals and I wish to continue being a customer but not if it's this is what...
Read moreHad a good experience with friendly staff and good pricing, however I could not find a cart with a kid seat so this limited my trip and I was only able to buy half of the items I wanted due to a fussy child not wanting to be held. I needed to get a week's worth of clothes for a new job and ended up getting just three pairs of pants. I did not look to hard for one but in the cart area there were only two options. My kid behaves well when seated in a cart however it seems they have the option of a rolling basket and a small seatless cart. I'm not sure If they have the carts with a kid seat at this location as I remember when I was younger my kid brothers would ride in them at the portage location but it seems they are nowhere convenient, if existing at the store at all. I did not see any other toddlers or younger children in the store so it's not as if they were all being used. in fact the toy section was entirely void of people, my toddler and I were the only ones in that corner of the store. Again great staff and clean and a good experience and all that stuff just a weird inconvenience, maybe it's just me being a newer parent and all but it's definitely going to affect my decision in the short term future until my kid is more self sufficient and can walk around without risking...

That is exactly what I am going to do. I am going to make a doctors appointment tomorrow morning to get checked out. I am experiencing a headache and some stomach problems. I have an orientation for tomorrow morning at 9:00. I am going to cancel my orientation for tomorrow morning and reschedule it.
