If you have ever watched a Youtube video of someone going through ASTOP in Japan or other used Figure Stores, that's what you are going to find here. This is a gigantic store with thousands of used figures and tons of merch. There are many cases that are set up by series- you have a Vocaloid case, an Eva case, a SAO case, a Persona case, etc, and there are large cases towards the front of the store that are for more assorted series. Everything is used, and most figures are not boxed, though there are some with boxes Inventory seems to change over quite a bit. I went back after 4 or 5 months, and there was a ton of new inventory. You could easily spend an hour going through here picking out something you want.

If you are looking for a deal, they even have an area with "repaired" figures that have notes on them explaining what part was glued back on and if it was done by the store or another person, as well as an area for figures that are in great condition but might be missing an item, like an accessory or a alternate set of arms/head that are discounted. Finally, in the last room, there is a wall of damaged figures, each one bagged with details of what is missing or wrong with them, where you can get a really good deal if you are willing to deal with them.

The staff is really knowledgeable- I was buying a figure that had a note about how it was missing some extra pegs, and they explained to me that figures from the line I was buying usually came with extra foot pegs that went into the bottom of the base that you could use as alternates if you lost the original pegs, and this was missing those. They also do a great job packaging your items after buying, and take time to show you how to re-assemble the figure once you get it home.

About the only negative I could have is the pricing- sometimes you will see 3 of the same figure in the case, seemingly in the same condition, and 2 will be priced one way and another will be higher. This also isn't a place where you are going to get a crazy deal- Additionally, if you are a Nendoriod collector, this isn't the place for you- they don't really have any, this is primarily for scale figures.

All in all, this is the kind of store that is absolutely worth driving a few hours to get to- I've never seen anything like it outside of Youtube...

Was told I would be given 50% of the sale price of my figurines when I brought them in there. And I am very aware of how much each and every one of the figurines that I sold today are worth. I should have been walking out of there with at least $500 and I barely walked out with $280. If you're planning on getting a fair price for your figures don't sell them here.

Edit: my wife was the one who went into sell the figures because she was curious about what the shop look like on the inside. However because she was not aware of how much my figures cost she ended up selling them for the lower price. Which was not her fault as the sales individual in charge today should not have taken advantage of...

came in here with a friend after recently getting into anime. i didnt know what to expect but i have nothing but good things to say about this place. the owner and her wife are incredibly kind people who just want to share their love of anime to middletown. they took their time showing my friend and i around and helping me find things associated with the animes im into. they have an amazing selection all hand picked from japan. this place is absolutly insane and im so glad they opened this place because it was one of the things that made me want to get into anime. 10/10 would recomemd for anyone looking to broaden their horizons into...
