Jan 3 purchased frame and matting and spoke with Employee at picture framing . Payed $57 to have original tree canvas stretched and matted into frame that I purchased. Attempted to pick up frame on Jan 11. After Kate from custom framing unwrapped final touches I noticed the matting had slits in the corners which appeared incorrectly cut. Kate, reassured me that she would recut matting herself and that I cold return the following day to pick up order on Jan 12, 2020. I informed Kate that I would Give her more time if she needed it and she stated that she would have it done and call me for pick up . Today, Wednesday, Jan 15 I decided to call in and follow up on frame. Spoke with Manager (Katelyn) who didnāt seem to be concerned about customer satisfaction. She transferred me over to custom framing with no warning and i spoke with a lovely young lady named Kayla) who read off a note that was attached to my order that stated āwill not be until Thursday ā,needs new matting ā, by Kate who reassured me she would get the job done ! Iām a frequent shopper at Michaels and this is the first time Iāve ever used your custom framing department and I am truly unhappy with the lack of Professionalism by both the employee (Kate and manager Katelyn )at this location . After speaking with Katelyn āmanagerāI wondered if at any point she would attempt to fix the issue or at least apologize for the experience at hand or guarantee a pick up for today and SHE DIDN'TSEEM TO CARE! I gave Michaels ample time and I was extremely patient with staffing and still no finished product . I thought customers would be treated with respect and dignity starting with management as representatives of Michaels . Please help your team with customer service and better work ethic. Please have someone from headquarters guarantee a pick up with professional work completed....

The experience was worse than awful. My daughter placed an on line order and confirmation was sent that the order ( in full) was ready for.pick up. When the order was brought out it was missing an item. My daughter retrieved her conformation on her phone to prove the purchase. Then after 10 minutes the associate called Chelsea whom was not of any help. Chelsea just kept saying that the pick order didnt show the other item and that we could not have was paid for with proof. Then Chelsea called kurt who also kept saying that we had to call customer service. It was not my daughters problem to fix. Management should have given her the item which was paid for and figured out the internal problem. So 25 minutes later I purchased the item for my daughter. These two managers need some customer service training in the worst way. I have been in retail for approximately 23 years and this was handled so very poorly. I forgot to mention that my daughter had a coupon for the online order and I had to pay full price. You can believe that I will be letting my friends and family know about this experience at store # 1274 in Middletown Delaware. I'm sure that our business will be welcomed elsewhere with customer service that isn't clueless on how to resolve their own internal issues. I bought my tree last year and the whole top of the tree lights recently went out. I wrote a comment on IG and they deleted my comment saying it was spam. I was even nice about it, just trying to let them know they should take more consideration in the trees electrical. To me itās giving scam with the Christmas trees. I paid over $200 for this tree. I have all my decorations put up and the lights just went out. Like how disappointing.
