2019 Update: This place has gotten ridiculous! They can't handle the traffic they're getting!
The kiosk idea for the tickets, which all theaters seem to do these days, is a good idea except when a popular movie comes out. This theater can't handle heavy traffic! Their ticketing system, both online AND in the theater crashes every time a popular movie comes out.
And forget about the pizzas! First of all, they haven't offered to deliver a pizza since soon after they opened. Second, It's been at least two years since I walked in and found a pizza waiting under the warmer, AND it now takes closer to ten minutes to make the pizza. With the crashing ticketing system and the long wait-times for pizza, you know have to show up about thirty minutes before the movie starts to get a slice of pizza.
There's also a lot of construction going on, and the front half of the parking lot has been torn-up for over six months, so you now have to drive through dirt and rocks to get to the parking lot!
ORIGINAL POST: Nice place to catch a movie! Good food and a large variety to choose from, and this theater has a full bar in it. It's also the first (and only, so far) movie theater I've seen where everything is do-it-yourself: There are no lines for buying tickets because you buy them at kiosks instead of from a ticket-clerk, and you pour your own sodas and grab your own food, then pay at a register.
The only complaint I have is that they're usually out of the pizzas (if they're there, you grab them from under a warmer), and it takes six minutes to cook new ones, so if you're in a hurry to get to your seat it means you'll have to skip the pizza, or wait the six minutes and possibly miss the beginning of the movie. However, I will admit that they have actually brought the pizza into the theater to hand deliver them, but that has only been twice (out of 10-15 times) and both times were when the theater was not...
Read moreSaturday afternoon (1/4/20) we decided to take the kids to the movies to see Frozen 2 at 1:45, they received gift cards for Christmas and we were looking forward to a family day. After arriving to the theater Kevin and the kids began picking their snacks while I went to the register to select our seats. The cashier then slid the gift cards telling me each one expired in 1900. He called over a manager. She informed me that the gift cards must have been from Christmas of 2018 and proceeded to tell me of how there was a major system glitch in which funds never went onto cards. She informed me that she would forward the card info to the general manager and try to have it fixed for our next visit. I questioned what about today and was informed that I would have to pay. Now please realize..... we drove 35 minutes one way with three children, selected popcorn, pretzels, chips, and icees for 5 people. I have 60$ of non working gift cards in my hand still enclosed in the envelopes provided. (but donât forget.... you got my aunts 60$ when she got the cards) and youâre telling me you canât do ANYTHING for the movie showing that we want to see in 5 minutes?!?!?! I am disgusted at the lack of customer service. We left the food on the counter (what a major waste) and walked out with 2 small screaming children and an annoyed teen because you couldnât so much as let us in while you contact someone else to resolve the issue at hand. After calming my children in the parking lot we took our business to AMC. Which was yet another long car drive. What a disgrace. How about you train your managers in customer service? To expect me to pay out of pocket for everything when I came to use the gift cards is insane and unfair. 5 days later I still havenât heard from them and the cards still...
Read moreI honestly am truly disappointed with my experience here and meanwhile the theater was beautiful and the movie (of what we go to see was great ) there was a woman who worked here who not only scared my 4 year old son but embarrassed me as a mother and was completely rude! Now this is the first time my son has ever been to the movies and he was very good he was sitting in the chair and got his foot stuck in the fold of the seat well when I tried to get his foot out of the seat without hurting him i managed to get him out but his shoe got stuck once I pulled his leg out well as we were walking out of the auditorium I was making sure we had all of our belongings at the exit this woman comes up to my son and I and with a very mean face on she tells me that children can't be running all over the theater so I tell her that we were on our way out and she didn't even let me tell her we were leaving because he got his foot stuck and hurt himself she was to busy being rude and telling is off now this was a 5 o'clock movie how to train your dragon3 a kids movie and a Tuesday evening and we were quiet as can be especially under the circumstances but as my first experience being to this movie theater (we are new to the area) I will not go back ever ! I've never been shamed in such a way and what made it worst is this woman had the nerve as we were walking out of the building to talk badly about us to other staff working nearby the the exit . I'm really disappointed that we had such a bad experience because my son enjoyed his movie experience until not only did he get stuck in a chair but basically crucified by this staff woman who scared him he asked me all the way home if he was in trouble how...
