First and last time going. This morning I went to exchange a dress that was bought for my 3 month old. I arrived at 9:57, the store opens at 10. The door was open so I went in to wait in the lobby with my baby to get her out of the cold. 2 employees, a man and a woman who were at a desk in the lobby both berated me to wait outside with my baby because they weren’t open yet. I said I understood but it was cold and windy outside and I asked if we can wait in the lobby for another 3 minutes while they opened. I was told I couldn’t. Not only did they say I couldn’t, they said it in the nastiest tone. I pleaded to be able to wait inside with my baby for THREE MORE MINUTES and they continued to say no. The man stood in front of me and basically hovered over us until I walked back outside. My baby of course started crying when we went back out. A couple minutes went by and the woman came out and told me I can come in now. I just walked back outside 2 minutes ago! She said for “insurance” we had to wait outside. For 2 more minutes?! I said, “oh it’s better to keep a baby out in the cold. That makes sense.” Both employees are morons and it takes a real garbage person to kick a mom and her baby out because they opened in 3 more minutes. Will NEVER go back. Who kicks babies out into the cold for a difference...
Read moreNormally I love shopping at Boscov's but yesterday I had a very very bad experience the sales associate followed me on all three floors every time I turned around she was there watching me even though I had a receipt for every bag that I purchased. I asked her why she was following me and if she would like to check my receipts against what was in my bag I left the store very angry if you had more than two cashiers on a floor you won't have to worry about people stealing as they're walking from the front of the store to the back looking for a cash register I'm not going back to Boscov's and Im giving my credit card back it's not my fault that I have to carry merchandise all over the building looking for a cash register that's open. Plus most of the workers are rude anyway down in the mens dept the white men get very busy doing other things when black or brown people are waiting to be check out and when you call them out on it they said oh I didn't see you when you clearly saw them walking towards the cash register and then they abruptly turn around and start messing with clothing on the racks instead of cashing you out One very...
Read moreI am in the market for a new recliner. I went furniture shopping at boscovs in milfodd CT. I found the perfect chair that had a zero gravity feature, massage and heat. When testing the chair out i had it reclined all the way to see If I liked it. I was then yelled at from across the floor by the furniture salesmen (Todd) "don't sit in the chair like that" i didn't think anything of it because I was just simply testing out the chair then the salesmen said "do you hear me, stop sitting like that." I then got up and asked for his name and informed him that I was in the market for a chair and I was testing it. He then stated again that I wasn't supposed to be sitting in the chair like that. I told him that it has a zero gravity feature I was testing out. Todd didn't even know what that was and thought i must havs modified it someway to tip that far back. The salesmen 1 was very rude and actually led me to go to Macy's and purchase the chair and 2 has no experience in furniture or sales and is providing poor customer service. My experience here with Todd and the staff was terrible and I don't recommend boscovs...
