My fiancé purchased my engagement ring at this particular location. In addition, he purchased a warranty in which I am able to bring my ring for a cleaning twice a year. I have tried on three occasions to have my ring cleaned. On the first occasion, I was told that I needed to provide proof that I had a warranty on my ring. I asked the female associate if it was something she could looked up, and she told me that she could not. While shopping in the mall on a different day, I happen to stop by the store and an associate was kind enough to clean my ring, look up my warranty and provide me a copy for future references. Six months later (when my cleaning was due), I was told that I cannot just walk in without an appointment and that Zales do not clean jewelry on the weekends with out an appointment. Thus resulting in my ring not being clean. Today (Thursday), I went to Zales to see if my ring could be cleaned since it has been six months since the last cleaning! I was told by a young man that he could not clean my ring because I would need to make an appointment. I inquired if appointments were only needed for the weekends and he stated, “Thursday through Sunday”. Now, looking around the store there was not one customer, in fact, there was an other older man sitting down behind the jewelry counter. I asked if they were too busy to clean my ring, the young man responded, “yes, we’re in the middle of doing audits!” I’ve watched this process (cleaning my ring) being done once before and I know that it is not time consuming that it would result in the associates to continue to turn me away! This stores customer service needs some revamping! I will be reaching out to Zales corporation and the district manager assigned to this store to request the actual policy for the warranties purchased at this location! Read moreAvoid Zales at all cost. They'll sucker you in and be sweet as pie to get you to make a purchase but when it comes to service after that forget it. Especially the one in the Milford Mall. Associates are very rude and not willing to help. I bought my rings there 11 years ago. I have a warranty on my rings and brought them in for service and was told they no longer had my information and there was nothing they could do. (mind you my rings have been serviced there since the dayI purchased them) I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Zales customer service and after 45 minutes they were able to pull up on my warranty information. (the store wouldn't help me, I had to do it myself as it is my fault they lost all my information) To make a long story short my ring was sent off for repair, I was told by 2 milford associates it was covered under warranty, after making at least 5 different phone calls to Zales customer service I was also told it was covered. A week later I get a call from the manager stating I will need to pay almost $800 for my ring to be repaired. The manager Amina, was so rude and did not like that I was challenging him in regards to my warranty, so he decided he did not want to deal with me anymore and is having my ring sent to another store which is a total inconvenience and was not authorized. His exact words "to protect the customer experience". But I am the customer and he made my experience horrible. I have left a voicemail with a manager from Zales corporate and am waiting for a call back from a Michela, a general manager. So far nothing, my issue has not been resolved, and my very expensive wedding band and engagement ring are being sent somewhere that I did not authorize. Read moreThis Zales store is the utmost horrible place I've ever been to. My fiance got a beautiful ring, within 2 months after getting it sized a diamond fell out. We also sent in to get a brand new eing made sonit will have no problems after w months of calling and aski g aboit thw new ring they finally looked into and said thwu cancelled rhe order becauaw rhwu no longer make the ring,.. seriously, thanka for calling. After all that we also put sizing beads to make the ring a size 5, they made the ring with the beads a size 3 which kills my finger. Then another diamond fell out in a different spot. Now when I went to go pick up my ring, they refused to give it to me because it's not my fiance and I don't have the "proper receipt". The service that has been provided was rude, I couldn't believe they refused to give me my ring after all the other times of dropping it off and picking it up with out it is was able to.. I'm still in shock and pissed!!!
