DONT COME TO AARON'S!!!!!
I should have known better when my husband got a NEW freezer and it broke within the first year! We lost a whole deer and over $400 in food! They told us it's not their problem and that we still have to finish paying. By that point we only had a few payments and they finally just let our contract go.
However we needed new TV and years had passed. I thought maybe we would try them again. When we went to this location a guy named Robbie did our sale. The whole time he kept saying " I got you a really nice deal". When asking what the deal was he would just laugh and continue talking. Then he rushed us the whole contract process. I was trying to read it and he was very rude and would say " the lines right there just sign it". I stated I'm allowed to read this, no? Then he stated that there was a $10 monthly fee is we wanted a warranty for our TV, which we got. After then very first payment I called into the manager because our payments were almost $20 a month higher then what we were told and the warranty fee was not $10, but more! The manager (female) told me this store is known for doing this. That she would talk to her staff but I was in a contract now and just needed to pay my bills, but we could remove the warranty. AFTER she removed it THEN she tells me we can't ever add it back so if anything happens it's on us! I asked we she wouldn't tell me before hand and she said I should have known! A month later our remote broke! Then a few months we were going to be a few days late. I always informed them before the bill was due. Yet every time they would call me 3-6 times a day with different numbers and send people out and charge me a fee for this. Then Robbie would call me multiple times to the point I asked staff, the manager, as well as Robbie to please stop calling me as he has made me very uncomfortable and has stated odd things to me. Before my last payment he calls me again and says I have one payment left. I said please don't call me and he stated " when it's your last payment I will call you again and try to make you buy something else with us" today was my very last payment... He called a hour after I made it. I told him to never call me again. I've locked there number so much it's harassment now. I know you might be in a bind and need something, but it's not worth...
Read moreI fell six months behind not that I didn't have the money I actually forgot about it and they didn't bug me for a while .But even though they had every right to take out back they let me make payments on what I owed and at Xmas even after I used my two holiday payments they extended everything and dropped the late charge yes you end up paying more forsomething but they do have 120 days same as cash and peopleneed to understand they take this stuff out through a bank and they also have to payon it so when you pay a lot goes towards the bank note then once they are paid off then they make a profit that's how you guys with bad credit can lease something to own without having a credit check or having horrible credit if you run in to financial trouble they will work with you when I say work with you I mean really really honestly .Work with you check them out of this is the road you want to take hands down way cheaper then...
Read moreWe leased a tv and Xbox through Aarons on west 12th St. While under the impression (while a promotion was going on) with no money down we wouldn’t be having to pay a bill until we have been leasing for 30 days. About 2-3 weeks in we have a girl showing up on our doorstep demanding a payment or she was “calling the truck to come” that instant. Keep in mind we have received NO emails, bills, and 1 phone voicemail saying we are past due. NOBODY sent any sort of bill or proof of charges on what exactly the money was going towards, but wanted to demand a payment at my door step. Then, not only did she either demand the payment and or/ the items we were leasing but she told me we were being charged $10 for her to even be standing at my door! I told her once a bill was sent my way to either email or another form I would be happy to pay the bill. These people did not ask for any form of payment when...
