Wheelchair accessible no doors or hassles easy navigation , no WiFi ,no obvious pandemic precautions , does not have public restroom. A variety of cookies, candy, fudge ,ice cream, pretzels . They make it all and it’s delicious, we tried raspberry and orange gel candy, peanut butter candy and watched them make candy and dip apples in the copper kettle very friendly helpful staff and honestly watching candy being made is never a bad experience . My Grandparents lived next door to a couple who adored me and owned a major candy company , so one year for Easter “my bunny “was 25 pounds solid chocolate playing golf with peeps and gum drops the golf ball was a gob stopper and it was all hand painted . It is a fantastic memory I only wish I had pictures of this bunny today . My grand parents lived in retirement community on the Jersey shore and drove that bunny to me in upstate NY as a surprise , and boy was I speechless. this had to be 1977-78 so I am not amateur at watching candy being made . It’s an art just as much as Japanese noodle making is an edible art form , being diabetic I watch more than I eat , but I have a grand baby of my own to expose to the finer things of life before we have to worry...
Read moreSo we always stop in here on our trip to Erie. We went in and for a pretzel, buck eye and bark she charged us 28$. The pretzel is 1.99. buckeye 4. The bark is 27$ a pound. We got one fourth of a pound (it's on my receipt and I seen it on this scale also. I told the lady that price isn't right. She called someone and said oh okay I think you're you're price is 18$. Our total should have been 6$ for a forth pound, 2$ pretzel, 4$ buckeye. So the tax was 6$? I told the lady it's fine we will pay it. She said it might not be right I'm new can you come back when the owner is here so she can help you because I can't figure this out. It was clear she was new so it's not her fault, I felt bad honestly. Some people would have flipped for being charged double for no reason. Check your prices when going in here, they...
Read moreI was visiting the mall and decided to come to Rocky Mountain just to give it a tree, I was a little sketched at first due to how low the reviews were but I gave it a chance anyway. It turns out that there is a reason why this place has the lowest ratings, let me explain. 1. That staff was so rude to me and treating me awfully, i'm not sure if they were just having a rough day or they are always grumpy, but today was just not any of their day. 2. It's really pricey, now I know i'm not the only one that complains about the price of this place but it really is bad as it sounds, this is Erie, Pennsylvania, not Los Angeles. 3. If you want to have better chocolate that's cheap with friendly staff, I recommend Pulako's in the Millcreek Plaza or even Romolo's on West 8th. They are both way better...
