On any other day I would give this store a 5-star rating without a second thought. The in-store service is amazing and everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. But if you have a Torrid account and card, their corporate overlords are not so interested in quality customer service. Due to COVID-19, the Torrid store at the mall is closed. So when I read an email the other day that my Torrid cash had expired, I was a bit perturbed. I called the company and was informed in no uncertain terms that they had decided not to extend any Torrid cash at all and they would not offer me even the smallest extension. Mine had expired less than 24 hours ago, and was well over $100. I've spent thousands at their store over the last few years so being completely rebuffed when their store is CLOSED and online shopping isn't usually an option for me (no internet ay my house) was honestly kind of infuriating. Torrid knew that considerations had to be made for COVID-19 and they extended Torrid rewards but decided DELIBERATELY not to do so for Torrid cash. That the extension wasn't unilateral and purposefully excluded one of their programs just makes it so much more obviously an underhanded way to cheat...
Read moreI love this store! The staff is always wonderful. I can order online, have it shipped there and try stuff on before I leave the store. If anything needs to be returned or exchanged, I can do it right then and have it shipped to my house. I might actually be addicted to their clothes! I LOVE the fit, the comfy fabrics, their quality and most importantly how I feel when I'm wearing them! I always get a good deal with their sales and clearance. I check out the website for online only sales too. Torrid has slowly taken over my closet and I...
Read moreDecent variety of "in style" plus size clothes. Lots of dark tones, animal print, floral designed, and random loud colored shirts. They also have a different sizing system but no way to know what size it would usually translate to without asking employees for help. From what I understand, size00=14womens, size 0 is 16womens, size1=18w, and 2=20w.... They go to a size 6. They also carry a small shoe section, and the sizes are actually suited to people with wide width feet! Too bad they can be $70 for basic...
