Found A Acceptable Furniture Piece. A Flat Black Console Table Needed For Ironing Dress Shirt's, Jean''s, Etc. I Confronted A H.G. Associate In The Furniture Area, And Told Him I Was Interested In Buying The Piece, But It Has A Bit Of Corner Damage, And I Was Wondering If He Could Knock Off $30. Off The Price, Of $200. Reg. Price. I Then Offered A Price Of $170., For The Piece. He Then Said He Could Only Come Down $20 Off the Piece. But Knew He Was Playing Me, And Could Come Down More. I Then Said, How About Meet Me In The Middle, On Are Price Meddling, Over The Piece. He Then Scwabbled About It For Some Time, (About A Good 5 Minute's, Or More), Over Whether To Come Down, On The Price.I Then Stated, Because Of The Slight Damage, And The Flat Black Paint, On It Was Thin, And Stated, I Would Most Likely, Need To Refinish It With A Top Coat, And Re-prime It Too. Also Told Him That They May Not Sell The Piece For Six Month's, Or More, Due To The Two Issue's. After A Couple More Minute's Of Pondering Over The Price Reduction, I Suggested, He Finally Stated, Alright, I'll Take The $175, For The Piece. It Was Also Getting Close To Closing Time, And I Think It Played A Major Role As Well, To Get The $25., Off On The Piece. He Brought It Out, After I Paid For It, A long With Two Other Picture's, I Found, I Liked. Was Quite Courteous, After Assisting, With The Loading Of It. Would Not Have Purchased The Piece, If A Reduction In Price Of At Least The $25., Was Not Made. It Goes To Show, How Bargaining With A Negotiable Price, Was Very Effective, On This Night. And Believe Was Still A Very Fair Price, Given For The Piece. And, I Went Home Happy, Feeling, I Made Them The Final Offer, And Ultimately The Deal. And, Believe H.G., Got A Good, Fair Price, For The Piece.And...

However, this rather awkward fellow followed me and my girlfriend around the store, never really engaging socially with us even after multiple eye contacts. He just seemed to be everywhere we were, gawking queerly from little distances away. My girlfriend is very attractive, and so I figured he was just another lonely guy drawn in and checking her out, not realizing how creepy and inappropriate he was behaving. BUT THEN, AS WE WERE MAKING OUR EXIT, HE CONFRONTED US AT THE FRONT OF THE STORE, BLOCKING MY PATH OUT THE FRONT DOOR AND SEPERATING ME FROM MY GIRL!! I was about to flip right out on him when he announced he was store security AND ACCUSED US OF STEALING!! It was bad enough when I thought he was some creepy perv or maybe a mentally handicapped person, but the truth proved even worse. Anyway, he made a big old scene, tried acting tough with me, made false claims and accusations, and threatened--even pretended to dial--the police. He never did make the phone call, and we never will likely return to this...
Read moreToday I purchased a few items and after paying with cash, leaving and getting home, I realized a birthday card I bought was missing. I remembered as I was walking out I heard someone say “you forgot your card” but my mind went to credit/debit card, which I didn’t use, so I didn’t think they were talking to me, so I kept walking. Oops.
I drove back to the store and when I went back in to get the card, I was told it wasn’t behind the counter being held but probably back on the shelf. It was (it was the only card like it). It had been less than an hour. So, instead of holding an item a customer paid for, you just go put it back on the shelf to resell?
The cashier could have done a better job at getting my attention before I left the store. Yes, I could have checked the bag before I drove off but I think it’s fair to assume all the things I bought are in the bag.
I usually like this store to browse around when I’m bored but this was a strange experience over a $2.99...
