I had one of the best meals of my life from Ya Habibi, and I’m still thinking about it today. I ordered the lamb gyro, and let me tell you—unbelievable. The meat was tender and flavorful, but what really took it over the top was the tzatziki, garlic sauce and spicy sauce combo. Absolute perfection. Every bite had that perfect balance of savory, creamy, and just the right amount of heat. The owner? An absolute gem. Super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the food. You can tell he puts heart and soul into every dish, and it shows. If you’re in Portland and craving Greek food—Ya Habibi is a must. I’m already planning my next visit.

My pictures doesn't do the food justice! This was after my ride home. So good! The falafel is some of the best I've had. The texture is perfect inside, not mushy, and crispy on the outside. This was also my first time trying basbousa, just the right amount of sweetness. The gyro has the perfect balance of meat vs veges. To top it off, the owner is such a sweet guy! Parking is abundant, there's a little parking lot and plenty on the street. There's a few other food carts so tables are there too.

Ya habibi Mediterranean grill is not a restaurant it’s a food truck, but what I have loved there is the quality and service are excellent as well as restaurant. My favorite dish there is a combo shawarma wrap with chicken and lamb extra spicy with there special garlic sauce and for sweet they have an amazing basbousaaa. I recommend you to make it and go there, try this amazing food.

What a wonderful wonderful meal this man prepares. I have absolutely sound no better food than this it's prepared wonderfully the owner himself is wonderful nice polite and what a wonderful meal he prepares for you I don't think enough people know about this place but they should if you're looking for a gyro a falafel You name it Mediterranean food he's got it and it is far by far the best don't miss your chance to get one I swear by them they're the only ones I will buy from here on out so give it a shot I give it a 10 star review for the prep of the mill for the way he cooks it for the taste for the service for all of it wonderful 10 Stars hand down if you haven't had this you better get in here and have your ya Habibi is the only place that you will ever go to once you've had it don't give it a try I did by far the best. I love Middle Eastern food and saw the positive reviews so thought I'd check this food truck out.

The owner was extremely friendly, the food was clearly made with care and attention. We loved every bit of it. The lamb platter was excellent, great flavor. Salad was fresh. Pita on schwarma was the right kind, and they have the thicker kind of pita for gyros and platters. Falafel was also very good.

We will absolutely return, id love to try more from Ya Habibi!
