Picked up a Door Dash order and the guy at the register that hardly speaks English tells me I cant have a bag for the 3 large items my customer purchased. He tells me "don't you have a bag".. I then had to explain to this guy the difference between a hot cold bag and a bag that keeps your food together.. Mind you this food is in tin foil bowls with a plastic lid and not sealed in any way. To just toss the food in a large hot cold bag would create a mess and cause an unhappy customer that would then give me a 1 star rating for delivering what we couriers call "loose food".. He tried to tell me if I needed a bag I would need to pay for it.. I explained again I'm a currier service and I am providing a specialized service, I explained he could add the cost of the bag into the customer's bill but he refused telling me I must pay. I was about to just cancel the order and walk out because I don't want the bad raiting from this customer when this guy gave in and put the food in a bag.. now the person in line in front of me that ordered his food was given a bag without even asking.. I understand the new bag laws and many many restaurants have found a way to make it work. You are now the second restaurant out of HUNDREDS that's trying to have Door dash drivers deliver food without a bag which damages the food and causes it to get cold quicker and looks completely unprofessional. I recommend to anyone reading this looking to order delivery from Door Dash, Postemates, UBER Eats, and the rest of services to pick a different restaurant. These guys showed they specifically don't care about your business if its through one of these services. You are a full paying customer paying an additional premium for us couriers to bring you your food and you deserve the absolute best service possible from both myself as a driver, and the restaurant you order from. I will no longer except any orders from Baja Fresh until they resolve this problem and train their employees on how to make sure your customers are always satisfied. If I delivery food from your business it must be clean, fresh, hot, and properly packed up for delivery.
This raiting was also provoked by the worker himself who was angry and acted like he wanted to fight me for looking out for my customer. After he gave me my order he was so sarcastic and just being as much of jerk that he could with a big fake smile on his face. I would never treat...
Read moreAfter hearing good things about Bajio from a few folks I traveled all the way out there 2x in the past 2 months. I like the decor and cooking set up and it's never been busy BUT the prices are a bit high and the customer service is severely lacking. 3 of us visited 6/26 to celebrate a birthday and 2 of us chose to get the daily special. There was no communication gap with the staff and I could have spoke Spanish if I felt that it was necessary but when they rang up my food they over charged me by 1/2 of the priceof my meal. We were all looking and trying to figure out what was wrong and why the female manager (who supposedly has been there for years and is usually very nice) wouldn't explain what was wrong and why she rang up the order 5x wrong. We kept saying don't add the extra cost on and the next thing I knew the cook was scooping a small enchilada off of my plate. It seems (never explained) that he put 2 small enchiladas on my plate instead of 1. We thought that was because the corn and flour tortilla sizes were different but seemingly not. Once they scooped the food off of my plate and still did not explain I said "that wasn't necessary" and "that was silly" but in an effort to move on with our bday celebration I let it go and even tipped (WHY??). Their soda machine and ice Maker weren't working either but they didn't outright say that but instead tried to charge us for drinks that come with the daily special. So then they offered us the higher priced drinks from the mini fridge BUT we were not allowed to have Jarritos for some reason. This entire visit put a bad taste in my mouth and I don't think I will return anytime soon.
And I don't know if it was just me but when you're told that the sides are beans and rice, small side salad, or chips and salsa that you wouldn't think that beans were one side and rice would be another...I suppose they sell chips and salsa as 2 sides...
Read moreLet me first say that I don't write these often, you really have to mess up a lot or do something agregious for me to not take it as anything more than a grain of salt and move on. You tell people to wait outside and someone will come out, get your order number and bring out the food. I can tell you if you were to follow that your food just isnt gonna come. I asked people who were waiting before me and they had been waiting for 20min. 4 other cars that had clearly been waiting a while. Its beyond unprofessional and bs, not something that should be an issue. You tell people to do xyz and dont follow through on your end? Childish. If you are gonna charge almost double what a Chipotle burrito costs and charge me extra for sour cream and then give me none? I mean seriously? And the food isnt anywhere near as good? Do you really expect people to come back when you skimp on things that are almost always free everywhere else? Then after not giving it to me, you give me essentially none, great. Totally worth the extra money! The food is meh, not bad neccesarily but definitely not better than chipotle and again for almost double. Bare minimum money wise it's a waste. I can tell you with 100% certainty i'm never going back ever again simply because you waste my time and my money on subpar food. It's only the 2nd time I've been there and it's the 2nd time I've left pissed off because of things that are so not an issue at majority of successful places. It boggles my mind that you have almost 5 star reviews when if I've only been there twice and had two bad experiences clearly this is exactly how things are run. Bull, completely bull... you know the rest of the word. Take some ownership and FIX the issues, or shut it down and stop wasting everyone's time, money and dinner plans, now I am going to get a different meal that doesnt...
