Going here in the morning with my daughter is amazing. I love it. The manager is amazing and the cook is amazing but Iâm not sure what is going on with the night crew. Itâs like the opposite of a strip club. Meaning they hire the reject crew to work the nights at when it is the most busiest. Especially a Friday night such as tonight. The face that one of the employees told me to just look at the menu and figure it out because they were too busy to help everyone was very insulting. Also saying that he didnât know off the top of his head and he was to busy to ask to get me a correct answer. Wow! Great Customer service. With all restaurants facing daunting futures with this pandemic you would thing that customer service would be a number one priority. âEspecially from regulars who normally will always spend there cash to support the local business. Since my daughter has started online kindergarten I have been taking her here for lunch every day and at the very least spending $30.00. The morning manager knows my order at this point and is very kind to get it started when Iâm walking in the door. Not only did I call 6 or 7 times to find out if they had reverse happy hour At 8 like the 4 other Pizza Schmizza I have been to. When they didnât answer I went down there and it was full of intellectually challenged individuals who refused to assist me or my daughter by answering a few simple questions. He stated that he didnât know the answer off the top of his head and he was busy to find out. Itâs a 4 minute ride from where I live in Mount Scott to this pizza parlors but now Iâm driving 22 minutes to Sizzle Pie. Customer service should be you main focus to not only keep you regulars but itâs a cheap easy way to...
Read moreWon't honor website pricing. Been going getting a special on the website for a few times now, you can order a XXL pizza for $20 or the large for $14. Multiple times recently the website lets you get all the way to checkout with the pizza in the cart and states that the system is unable to process the order. The store has lost my business at this point multiple times now because the website wasn't processing orders properly.
I finally called in the order and explained to them what I was having difficulty with. When picking up the order I was told that that special price was only for a 1 topping pizza. I took out my phone and walked through the ordering process with the clerk to demonstrate what I ordered is supposed to be $14. Regardless, they informed me something was wrong on the website and charged me $26 for a $14 special.
I then send feedback to corporate explaining I will not be back until this issue is somehow addressed. I felt it was reasonable to give someone a chance to remedy this situation before I post my experience publicly on google, it's been a week now and not a peep back from corporate.
I'm sorry something is wrong with your website, you still need to honor the pricing and deal with the people in charge of the website to fix it, not put the issue back onto the customer.
Pizza Schmizza is seriously overpriced in my opinion, but on special it actually became a good option for a take out meal. Unfortunately, this experience has left me in a state where I'm not interested in giving this business my hard earned money any longer.
Papa Murphys is just as close and a much better value and will actually work with you if you forget a coupon or if there's a pricing...
Read moretl;dr - bad sanitation practices touching food with dirty gloves, person up front was clueless, person in the kitchen working hard trying to make orders and correct and direct person up front. Regretted going, will not go back.
I placed an order online. I also called ahead to ask about slices available for the day. When I went to pick up my order at 5pm on a Saturday, I wanted to pick up 2 slices of cheese and a slice of pepperoni in addition to my online order. The person helping me said that they put one slice of cheese in and they would do the other two slices later. I was also waiting for them to finish making my online order. The person working hard on making pizzas in the kitchen area eventually asked the person up front what I was waiting for. After they said I was waiting for slices of cheese and pepperoni, the person in the kitchen told me that it would be at least 30 minutes for those slices as they were out! The person up front did not make that clear to me. I just took the one available slice. The person up front worked on ringing me up for the slice. They kept touching the screen and pushing the glasses up their nose with their gloved hands. After that, they went and finished packing up my order WITHOUT CHANGING GLOVES! These gloves that had touched their glasses, their face, the register, then touched my food! They then started helping someone after me. They never finished ringing me up. The person behind me wanted a slice of cheese. Again the person up front didn't make it clear that it would be 30 minutes! At this point I asked if they wanted me to pay. The person up front then came back and finished ringing me up. I have no idea why it took so...
