My 24-year-old healthy son joined this gym in msp on 9/4/23. He signed up to work with a "certified personal trainer" CPT. After 3 workouts within 1 week with the trainer my son was admitted into the ER on 9/9/23 with Rhabdomyolysis! My son had a 4 day inpatient Hospital stay on IV therapy to save his kidneys due to Rhabdomyolysis! I called the gym and I spoke with trainer and requested a copy of the regimen done with my son try to figure out how this happened and I requested a copy of his CPT certificate. Instead of the trainer providing me with a copy of the information I requested, he told me to contact his attorney! The gym CEO has this trainer listed on his website as a CPT. So I contacted CEO to get a copy of the trainer's certificate. I feel that it is only reasonable & responsible that if you have a trainer listed on your website as a CPT you should have a copy of the certificate available. Neither the trainer or CEO has provided this information. They have not accepted any responsibility or shown any sympathy for what happened to my son! I have excellent health insurance so money is not the issue. The issue is accepting responsibility for what happened to my son at that gym working with a "CPT". The trainer should be responsible for having a written regimen of the routines that are done with clients and they should be able to show proof of their certificates and credentials...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming to this gym for several years now. I absolutely love it. All the people are incredibly kind, everyone is serious about training, and the equipment it amazing. This gym harbors a sense of community. The trainers are knowledgeable and great to work with. With that all said, that is not the reason I am writing this review. I am writing this review because I want to explain the impeccable customer service this gym offers. I had an extremely uncomfortable interaction with another member who gestured a profanity at me. The interaction was uncalled for and unnecessary. However, the main takeaway is I felt uncomfortable and the employees showed me compassion and genuinely cared about the issue at hand. I was treated kindly and with respect. Often women are made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe within a gym setting, however, in that moment I felt seen and heard. The employees took my complaint as a serious matter and they resolved the issue for me so I could freely continue my workout in peace. Thank you for the amazing service at Los Campeones Franklin. I highly recommend this gym. @Benjamin Loehrer give these amazing employees a raise ASAP...
Ā Ā Ā Read more(Edit: 5 - 2 ā, Ever since gyms have started reopening I have become very disappointed in Los. While they post signage insisting safe practices and masks are required, I have yet to see this enforced, even their trainers are walking around without masks on unless they're specifically with clients. The only reason I didn't downgrade to 1 star is that at least the employees appear to be following the mandate. I definitely wouldn't go in here without wearing a mask because 95% of the other people won't be.)
Easily my favorite gym in the area. I been going here for a year both for my everyday workouts and personal training with King Phong. If you want a gym that feels like a REAL gym this is the place for you. Also has an awesome outdoor turf area that's really fun to do...
