Guse Hardware is my version of "Cheers" - the little place on the corner where everyone knows my name and the staff will talk me through my (home related) challenges. I'm there every week for everything from clothespins to canning jars, as well as repairs (screens, tool sharpening ... that sort of thing). It's a small but adequate store. My problem is with the posted pricing. They say that you get a discount when you pay cash, but the posted price is the cash price. So it's not a cash discount, it's a card upcharge, as you'll be charged more if you use a credit card. This is extremely misleading and downright unethical. The best little mom and pop hardware store around! It's a little crammed but they've got everything! I can't wait to visit again! It's almost like going back in time when you walk in.
