This is a Mpls classic like Matts Burger or Mickeys Diner. Back in the 90s there wasnt many places open at 3 am and this place used to be packed with college students looking for a late night bite. The owners I believe were Brazalian. Their staple.. their flame grilled burgers and fries with their secret seasoning (I was told not even employees knew what was in the seasoning). They put that on their fries and burgers and chicken wings... yum. Was a must after a late night of partying. I always asked for extra seasoning on my fries. Not sure what happened with ownership tho throughout the years, but the burgers dont taste as good as back in the early 2000's, when I used to frequent the spot religiously and the seasoning seems different now. They have been tweaks here and there over the last 20 years to their burgers, and not sure why because it used to be perfect. The fries and wings kinda stayed the same, with the seasoning seeming a little different, but somewhat similar. I dont see the Brazalians anymore so might be different owners now. one of the workers was very rude to me and although I have frequented this establishment many times they refused to provide service to me nor explain why. I am of legal age and tried to buy a beer, of which I have done many times at this establishment, a worker spun me around in the checkout line and told me to put it back. when I asked why, and cited the many times I had bought beer at this location, he simply restated his first command and asked me to put it back. I did so, as to not raise a fuss, and am even fine with not buying the beer, it was the way the worker treated me that left me in an upset and confused state. its one thing to not be able to sell beer, but it's another to have them in your case and then yell at me for trying to purchase one. most of the time this establishment has great service, I was just confused by the unnecessarily negative energy directed at me,...

I ordered falafel recently, and it was cold, old, and tasted terrible. The quality of the food at this place has gone downhill drastically. It seems like they’re using old, possibly rancid oil—the smell is awful, and everything on the menu has the same unpleasant taste and odor.

It feels like they’re just making food for the sake of it, without any care for freshness or flavor. I’ve had to have my food replaced due to how bad it tasted, and I’ve complained multiple times. While waiting outside, I’ve even had strangers warn me not to eat here because of how bad their experiences were.

What happened? Did the ownership change? This place has become unhealthy and honestly unrecognizable. Really...
