I worked with Nick to develop a custom engagement ring for my now wife back in February of 2024, and he did such a wonderful job that we also decided to have him develop my ring for our wedding this spring.

I began the process by reaching out to Nick with a general budget, and some inspiration from his own work as well as some vintage references. I gave him a fairly expedited deadline, seeing that I was hoping to propose during an upcoming trip to Seoul. In the end, he far exceeded my expectations, while coming slightly below my original budget, and finished the ring with just enough time for me to admire it for a while before we set off on our big trip.

It’s not hard to tell by browsing his work that he’s an incredibly talented jeweler with great taste, but he’s also amazing at the aspects of the job that are more akin to being a therapist. Creating a ring for that person you’ve chosen to marry can be an extremely nerve-racking affair! Nick was amazing at listening to my ideas, while also offering suggestions based on his own experience. He was extremely generous with his time when it came to sourcing the best stone and developing a unique band design. He even helped me strategize how to get the ring on a nearly 15 hour flight on the other side of the world without security rummaging through my bag and ruining the surprise.

After our proposal he very generously offered multiple cleanings for the ring before big events in our engagement process, and resized the ring to fit my wife’s finger perfectly.

Nick’s shop also carries objects from many amazingly talented jewelers and artists from around the country. Stopping by the shop during the ring design process was always a highlight of my day.

Nick was absolutely fantastic through the entire process. We met with him on short notice, yet he had a variety of stones and rings to demo.
