Don’t let the three stars in the logo fool you. This is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star studio. Grind not only serves up killer indoor cycle classes- but these incredible sweat sessions come with an amazing community. I am not from Minneapolis but have visited a few times and from the first moment I walked into the studio, I was met friendliest smiles. I arrived a little early , as I like to do, and I’m glad I did. I was given a tour of the studio which is really beautiful and clean. Oh- they have showers too if you need them. There was still a few minutes before class and I was welcomed to the chitter chatter of other riders and the desk staff. After a true butt kicking by Ally-( see below for more on her classes), I walked out to so many people staying to talk. Little groups everywhere but I was called over the talk with my new friends from before class (and who I’ve caught up with on my other visits). Each time I’ve gone back- I have been welcomed back, like I am there every day. So- Ally’s class -she’s a killer- but full of humor at the same time. I’m a regular rider at home, but holy moly Ally-WOW! I Loved it! There was a little chat about how the class would go down. The lights went out and BOOM- loud, pumping music and riding to the beat (which is my fave kind of class). I’m not sure she is good with time though, because I think we did tap backs FOREVER!!! 🤣 I can’t wait to get back there. Next time I will take a strength class with Nick. I hear that is brutal in the best way (but everyone came out of there smiling). Go the a the Grind. You’ll come away sweaty, with new...

Over all experience:
The best welcoming experience. First timers be sure to come 10-15 mins early.
The studio has shoes if you don’t have your own. They give you towels (because you’ll be dripping sweat).
They have light weights for the part of the cycle class where you lift. At the end of class you get a cold damp eucalyptus towel to cool off with.
Staff: The front desk staff is very helpful: they show you where everything in the space is when you first get there. It’s a smaller studio, so be sure to get there early if you need to use the locker room.
Coaches: So far my favorite coaches are Eric (he is so friendly and welcoming plus plays lots of early 2000s like Britney Spears and Mariah and I’m for it) and I love Maddison (she is so funny, energetic and plays dance music and hip hop).
Culture: A lot of people just take their coats off and hop right into class with out socializing, and leave. Then some people mingle and chat before and after class and connect with other people. Everyone is super friendly and it’s not a “clicky” studio, everyone is so cool.
Over all, I love that it feels like community, I love the energy of the cycle class. I feel like it’s the perfect cardio workout I needed in my weekly routine. This is a studio I plan on taking classes at a couple times a...
Read moreI’ve only been here a handful of times and I’m truly impressed. Before coming here, I didn’t understand why someone would want to pay more than $30 a month for a gym membership, but after going here, I get it. Everything about this place is so purposeful and thoughtful - from the cold towels at the end of class, hair ties available in the locker area, etc. They offer 3 types of classes: spin, strength, and restore (yoga?). I tried spin first and enjoyed it but when I went here it was next level! The instructors I’ve had have been challenging and fun. The front desk staff & owners are helpful and kind. It can be intimidating going to a new gym & when others look like Instagram models, but I feel like I am welcome here. I’m excited for the new studio to be...
