Jaxen Grey — Local services in Minneapolis

This is without a doubt the best men's clothing store around. Every experience I have there is better than the last. On multiple occasions I've stopped in to find that they carry a specific item from a boutique brand I've looked at online just days before.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. They treat everyone like family. It's important to know that it doesn't come off as trite - they love talking about clothes and know what looks good on you. You'd be doing yourself a favor by letting them help you.

They carry a wide array of high quality men's brands you won't find anywhere else in the city like Taylor Stitch, Marine Layer, OAS, Wax London, Viore, Alex Mill, and more. These brand are more expensive than your typical fast-fashion, H&M, Forever 21 garbage. However everything they carry is high quality, seasonal (many items will not be produced again so you could even say limited edition in some cases) and will look and feel great for years to come.

Every time I leave the store I ask myself why I even bother trying to shop anywhere else. This is the only place I consistently find good looking clothing year round.

Whenever people talk about that local shop customer service that every major corporation pretends to have, THIS store is what they're talking about. These are good people running an immensely awesome clothing shop and the community is all the better for it. Sure, I could maybe buy some of these things online for cheaper, but then I wouldn't be supporting the real players of our local economy.

Jaxen Grey is hands down my favorite clothing store. I've been there twice now and had incredible experiences each time. For someone often intimidated by fashion, it was very reassuring to have help of the staff selecting and evaluating pieces that fit my style and the occasion I was shopping for.

On my most recent visit, Christopher greeted my fiance and I at the door, offered us drinks, paid attention to the items we liked, and gathered similar items across the wide variety of brands. He setup a stall for me to try pieces he and I had collected. He gave feedback on each item and even gathered additional items that he thought would work better based on the fit and my reaction to items I tried. Ultimately, all three of the items we bought were chosen by Christopher - they looked great and were not pieces I would have independently considered. I have always been someone who has been interested in fashion and known the value of dressing well, but never prioritized the time to learn or figure out the best way to hire the right stylist for myself.

Jaxon Grey was the impetus I needed to really get a wardrobe upgrade and it was an absolute joy working with Joel and the team as we gave my clothes a much needed refresh. They were able to choose clothes that fit my body type and help provide guidance on outfits I would have never chosen for myself at first, but now love and have my mind opened up to.

The only con about Jaxon Grey is that it's not available in my home town! 😆 Otherwise, absolutely stellar service here and well worth the value...
