Felt extremely discriminated against, feeling like I was being lead on with false hope and misinformation. Nobody would give me a straight answer when I had questions regarding an animal's health. They talked to me as if I had no idea what I was doing and treating my search for companionship as an "impulse buy".
I was told that my lifestyle would be perfect for one of their cats but then I received an email stating that it wouldn't be a good fit for him which is funny because when I met the cat in person he loved me. I could tell during their meet and greet that he was getting overstimulated from all the people crowding his cage and nobody did anything for him.

I found out about a cat I wanted on Petfinder. Petfinder said it was an intense match. I start an inquiry. No response. Then, I apply, matching everything from my Petfinder account to what the cat needs and my needs. It should be a good fit and no problem, right? Two hours later, they denied me via email without rhyme or reason. I ask why, and no one responds. I call, and no one answers. These type of things happening is why people are wary of getting animals from shelters. This doesn't seem...
