Every May, I am anxiously awaiting Mother's Day and the first day of ice cream season at Minnehaha Scoop. The ice creams are delicious; an intriguing variety of flavors from classics to slightly wild and quick to be gone. (Please, more Pistachio)! It was packed with families when we arrived a half hour before closing. The vibe was upbeat and wholesome. The ice cream was solid but not outstanding. We have lots of artisan shops in Minneapolis, and most of those have seen a sharp decline in service, quality, and freshness of food since the pandemic. The opposite is true at Minnehaha Scoop.
