This review is long overdue, but people have to know this is worth a spot on anyone’s list of go-to’s. My first experience here was a few years back when my husband and I had purchased our first home, looking for patio furniture for our porch. I purchased a Threshold patio set of 3 chairs and a loveseat for around $200 (if memory serves), a fire table for around $100 (maybe less), and 2 side tables suited for outdoor use for $10 each; these are just the items I was intentionally looking for and I’ve often found great pieces from housewares and furniture to attire there (at this location) for myself and friends/family. Most of it is at about the least expensive pricing you’ll be able to find in-store (rivaled pretty much only by some individual sellers like you’d find on a Craigslist or the like, and MAYBE online if you happen to find a ridiculous deal/sale). Now, like most thrift stores - especially non-profits - the selection depends on what is donated, so the selection isn’t always going to be consistent. It is - also like most thrift stores - not the most organized/tidy, and whether or not the customer serves meets, misses or exceeds your expectations depends on the day and who’s working. It’s not perfect, but all things considered it’s pretty darn great.
I’ve also dropped off donations a handful of times and have always found the experience to be pleasant and...

The donation area is fantastic in any weather, and they treat the donations well and sort them right away. Love it!! I decided to donate to the Salvation Army, because it has been shown that they do "the most good," giving people a hand up in many ways. It was a cold day, but when I pulled up, the attendant joined me outside to collect the bags. He was very appreciative and friendly. He asked if the cross meant I was a believer, and we discussed churches a bit, as we were working on the receipt. I'll go there again, even though a little...
Read moreThis has to be the best thrift store ever! The first floor sells most things by weight - we bought some really cool bowls, and crockery from there. It also has a lot of furniture, photo frames, mugs, etc. I also found a gorgeous vintage suitcase! There are also a lot of like-new books here for about 30-50 cents.
The downstairs is slightly different in that it isn't a used goods store. Most items seem new and look like they're samples or rejects from Target. They're often a lot cheaper than what you buy in store too.
In all, this store is a fantastic place to spend hours of your time. You never know what you might...
