Ukrainian Gift Shop — Local services in Minneapolis

I purchased my first supplies from the shop nearly 40 years ago. I had to give up my creative activities because of life changes, but I saved my supplies. In light of current events, I decided to write a few pysanky as gifts so I unpacked my supplies a couple of weeks ago, and fired up my electric kitska to be sure it still works. I ordered dyes and they arrived quickly. They were even patient with me when I called when I was preparing my dyes to assure me that the ochre-colored powder would, indeed, produce a green dye. I hesitated to mix it before checking with them, in case it was actually a yellow dye that should be mixed with vinegar. They were very kind. I will order from them again when I need anything! This shop is the BEST! I order pysanka supplies online from them every year. The staff is knowledgeable and generous with their customer support. And I love the family history of the place. It means so much to know that the family documented and published so much about Ukrainian folk crafts during the time of the Soviet Union when these crafts were being erased in Ukraine.
