Recommended my friend to go there to have the back of his iPhone replaced after it cracked, bad idea. They replaced the back with a after market back not an apple product, the battery they installed was also after market and the iPhone didn’t even read the battery health. On top of that when they replaced the back the camera bezel was left loose, and they messed up the front screen leaving a green line through the whole thing, after that they proceed to put another front screen on the phone and that screen has miscoloration on it. So I go with my friend to be a total Karen about what’s happened to his phone and tell them it needs to be fixed so we drop it off and go back a few hours later like they tell us to. The man stated that the screen they got didn’t work and proceeded to put the broken screen back on my friends phone also stating that there is nothing they can do about the loose camera bezel, that they messed up along with the rest of his phone. Please do NOT take your phone or any other electronic here to be repaired....
Read moreI do the vast majority of maintenance on my vehicles myself and was a little nervous about trusting a chain retail store to install the battery. Might sound paranoid but just thinking about some random person from an auto shop rounding out nuts and not properly cleaning the battery posts makes me cringe.
Due to having family in town and being short on time I decided to take a chance on Batteries Plus. Wow, what a great experience. They were properly staffed, and both employees were clearly experienced and skilled.
As I waited for my battery to be installed I overheard one of the other employees helping customers with random battery questions and it was clear that he took pride in his job. It is SO hard to find people like this these days still working at retail stores. They used a memory saver, had all the right tools and even had the felt terminal protectors on hand (that I forgot to buy in advance)....
Read moreThe customer service here is next level. I called to schedule an appointment to fix what I thought was a cracked phone screen. They got me scheduled the next day.
Then, remembering I had insurance, I cancelled my appointment -- but they were so nice and accommodating throughout.
As in they were so nice -- I decided I would pay extra to have my phone fixed through Batteries + Bulbs rather than my insurance company, who in contrast has some of the worst customer service.
Turns out my phone case was just cracked, not my actual phone. So while I can't give them my money -- I wanted to at least give them this google review.
If you have insurance on your phone -- don't even bother with the insurance company. It's a 2 week + wait time and awful customer service. Go...
