Been here countless times. Increasing disappointment with each visit. This time was extremely poor. Beyond a lack of service and poor attitude.
Got charged for an item I didnt pay for. I bought less than 10 items. Was argued with by store manager! Humilating! I was asking to get my money back, for something less than a cost of a burger!
Made to wait 24 hours while she "reviewed the tapes" and "decided" (if I was correct in my claim or scamming over less than $5 item). My purchase was more than 15 times the price of the item she was debating me over! I shop here often! Sometimes assisting my cousin in her home-staging and decorating business. Now we'll be travelling to the Goshen store for what we need.
The store manager wanted to argue me, the customer, splitting hairs over an item so small? My time and energy was worth much more than the item I was incorrectly charged for.
What did I have to gain by this? I was treated like I was trying to scam or steal, made to prove i didnt take something with me in my bag! This became about thr principle, and about my expectation of management.
Pro-tips:
1.Customer not always right at Mishawaka Hobby Lobby.
Check your items and reciept for accuracy while you're being rung up - always before you leave. Zero service after exiting.
Goshen is a great store, totally different tone from management, very customer-friendly!
This was humiliating and stressful for me, just trying to ask a question on my reciept's accuracy. Left me with the poorest impression. I have no connection with any retailer and this is my honest experience point blank.

Read moreThe layout of the store was different than the Hobby Lobby that is in the Concord Mall area. They had similar things and they also had things that I didn't see at the other store. I like the way they keep some of the things locked up to where they don't get stolen. Which I see a lot of open stolen products out of their packages, as I'm shopping at the stores. It's not just with the Hobby Lobby stores but any other store like Target, Walmart, Meijer's, Dollar tree, Dollar general and Family Dollar just to name of few that are affected by thievery. Hobby Lobby by Grape Road was very clean easy to find what it was I was looking for and the employees were very helpful when I could not find The product or products which I was searching for when shopping there. I would recommend either of the Hobby Lobby stores for any kind of project or projects that you are wanting to build or get. I will say this sometimes you can get trapped in Hobby Lobby and be in there longer than you expected because of all of the things that they carry. Which I find very convenient to be able to go in to a store such as this and get the things that you need to build or complete what it is you want to do. Read moreI entered the store to do an exchange on a shadow box frame. I first went up to the return register and asked the cashier, Addison, if I would be able to exchange the frame and still get the 50% off discount that I had gotten when I purchased the original. She told me to go ahead and leave the frame there and go pick out what I wanted. I took about 20 minutes to find the one I needed (I looked around for an associate in the area because I couldn't reach it and finally found another customer that was taller than me and could). I took the frame back up to the register and waited but that was next in line. When Addison began to do the return I followed the transaction and the return cost was correct but then she didn't ring up the new frame at the 50% off. I told her she had said that I could do that which is why I went and looked for the new frame. At this point she completely lost me due to her extremely condescending tone. I have experienced this with quite a few of the managers that stand around watching the cashiers and wait to be called on for some sort of approval so it is evident that there is a sense of condescension in the work environment.
