To be absolutely clear, I LOVE HomeGoods and I loved the Mishawaka store. I called and put a desk and chair on hold, and drove over an hour and a half to purchase them. Upon loading them into our truck, my husband noticed that one of the legs was cracked/split all the way though.

I get it, stuff happens; my husband went in to return the desk and chair. The sales associate got a manager to authorize the return. We didn’t expect anything, except our money back, but a “sorry for the inconvenience” would have been nice. Instead the manager said,”I don’t unload the truck!”

Uh, we didn’t unload the truck either, but we drove quite a distance to spend over $300 in your store. Compassion goes a long way. I was so excited to buy the desk, it was bad enough it was broken. The manager being so uncaring was just ridiculous.

I love Home Goods. I get everything from this store. I saw a sign says 'Same day delivery'. First I thought Home goods are doing the delivery now but it was another company called 'Select Express and Logistics" I paid extra $104 to get 2 items delivered.(bed end bench, 8x10 rug) I went in on the 13th, sat. It says It could deliver on monday the 15th between 9am-12pm. I cancelled my morning shift so I could be home and I thought I could be at work in the afternoon. that didnt happen. Ive waited till 9 pm because they said they are sure it will be delivered before 9pm. that didnt happen. next day I called, they said they dont know when it will be delivered. I cancelled it and my husband and I went to go pick it up ourselves. Select Express and Logistics does not keep their promise! I do not recomend...
