Yoke's Fresh Market Pharmacy on Broadway — Local services in Missoula

I want to give a HUGE shout-out to Laurie, who is a cashier at Yokes at the Broadway location. She is an absolute GEM. I adore her and was so happy to get to see her tonight when I checked out with my groceries. Every time I go to Yokes I always look for her check-out station, whether she is at self check out or her usual number 4 😀. She is always so kind, lovely, and one of my favorite people to see at Yokes. What I love about this location is how neighborhood- community oriented it feels, and it’s because of the people who work there, especially Laurie. She always makes me smile, laugh, and puts an extra step into my day (or evening!). I often do my grocery shopping after a long day at work, and getting to see Laurie and say hello is something I look forward to. We have lots of options for grocery stores these days in Missoula - and employees like Laurie keep me coming back to Yokes on Broadway. It's sad that I have to write another bad review of fresh market my wife and I have been comfortable shopping here enjoying good customer service untill this last week I was grocery shopping and this blonde ladies that works there kept following me everywhere pretending to face shelves she would hide behind different places and stare at me I was in the store shopping for lots of different things I had a kart I work nd I'm paid very well I'm not a thief I even complained at the cash register and they knew who I was talking about but was given no apology for being harassed I felt angry and embarrassed since we had problems once before and now this insulting behaviour we will no longer be shopping here I'll pick up my meds this one last time from their pharmacy then I'm switching to somewhere else we live close and spent all our money at this store but it's worth going a little farther away not to be treated like criminals I do no recommend anyone to go...

I have never had an issue with foods from a grocery store like I've had here. I'm especially disappointed because they have the word FRESH in the name. I have had to take products back THREE different times here. The first was some cheese that was a few months old, and when I went to pull some out of the bag it was slimy and wet. The second time, my boyfriend got food poisoning from some chicken nuggets. We ate the same thing that night, but I don't eat meat, so I didn't eat the chicken. Therefore, I did not get sick like he did. This last time I went to use some tempeh I had JUST purchased, and noticed it was a bit discolored. I showed it to my boyfriend, and he pointed out the expiration date on it was Jan 07 of 2016, ALMOST THREE YEARS AGO! I have no idea how that...
