At 2pm, on December 27, 2024 I visited the Burlington store at 10431 Hwy 6 in Missouri City, Texas 77459. Despite it being just two days after the Christmas rush, the store seemed pretty well organized, stocked and clean. Nothing stood out to me until I walked up towards the front and noticed the door greeter, Junius. He stood out because he was very friendly and welcoming, but what I noticed more than anything was how he was doing an incredible job watching the front. He acknowledged EVERY person coming or going out and he was aware of what was going on around him. I stopped by to tell him how impressed I was, and what a delight it was, to see someone enjoying their job so well. He had the best disposition about him and he responded that he loved his job! See, here is why I made the effort to compliment him: I had been to another Burlington the day before in Sugarland and the door greeter there was awful! He was not paying attention to anyone coming in or leaving out of that store. He was too busy laughing about whatever was on his phone. He was glued to it and never looked up within a 5-6 min timeframe. I walked up to that guy and asked him if it would be okay if I just took something off the shelf and left without paying for it. He laughed at me and I told him I was not joking. Since he wasn’t watching what was going on he’d have no clue if someone was stealing, or if a person just needed help. So, that is why I wanted to be sure to recognize Junius. I made sure to call the Missouri City store and let the manager know what a great experience I had and that I wanted them to know how well an employee was doing his tasks. This store will be my first go-to store before any other Burlington location from now on. ...
Read moreGreat selection and would have purchased everything that fit. But locking all but two dressing rooms told me I was not valued. Standing in line is not a theft determent. It is a customer loss. Having a neuromuscular disease prevents me from standing for extended times. They even locked the ADA accessible room!!! How is locking dressing rooms a thwart to theft??? A thief will simply wait to get into an available one. DUH! Well, ROSS next door got my money. I left a pile of pants and shirts on the counter and the lady in front of me at the dressing room also left her items behind. Two verified losses. I'm sure there were many more. If you can't let people try items on, they will leave them behind. I usually only post positive posts, but this experience needed to be shared. A total lack of customer appreciation. I will spend my money where I'm valued and appreciated. Update: They have made improvements and my give 'em another chance proved to be a good experience. Good job for making improvements! I'm giving 'em...
Read more04/01/2024 Little annoyed that I got here at 11:00am (they open at 9), spent an hour shopping around only to find out the fitting rooms were closed. They didn’t have a timeframe for when they would be open. I want to try on my clothes before I take them home. It’s super inconvenient that you don’t tell people or have signs saying your fitting rooms are closed until you get to the actual fitting rooms which are in the back and no one walks near unless they are attempting to try on clothes.
Selection was alright. I’ll try it again in a few weeks and see if I can try on my clothes at that time.
6/13/2024 I went back to this Burlington since I got off work early, it’s currently 2:04pm on a Thursday and the fitting rooms are CLOSED. I decided I liked a dress enough to buy it anyway only to watch the two people at the registers joke and laugh with each other for a few minutes without calling up any customers. Left my cart and just decided it wasn’t worth my time. I’m not giving y'all...
