This family owned and operated jewelry store is just awesome, Megan and her family really took care of me when I was designing my wife’s wedding ring. My wife and I have been married 16 years and when we first got married, I couldn’t afford much more than a wedding band. Needless to say, I had to get her wedding ring just right and I had to do it on the first try. I set a budget and Megan help me stay on budget, making design choices that not only helped stay on budget but also helped develop the style of ring I was going for. It turned out even more awesome than I’d imagined, and my wife loved the time and effort spent by us, taking everything into account, such as her work and especially her individual style. She absolutely fell in love with this ring and now this is the only place to go for custom work. I will definitely be back for sure! The quality, precision, and care they take with everything is beyond amazing. The friendly folks at Lou’s Jewelry far exceeded my expectations, helping us find the perfect engagement ring and they were able to have it ready quickly. We visited Lou’s Jewelry after having a lackluster experience with other stores we visited in the area, either not having much to choose from or the sales folks functioning as used car salesmen. When we visited Lou’s, we were greeted by Rebecca, who was very friendly. She helped us find the best ring we had seen after showing her a picture of a ring my (now) fiancée liked. A few weeks later, I realized I needed to buy the ring to have any chance of it arriving by Thanksgiving, when my fiancée and I would visit Gilchrist Blue Springs, a place we love snorkeling, and where I wanted to propose. I was just outside the typical turnaround time frame and realized I likely would not have the ring in time, which was my fault for not thinking ahead and I was OK with that. Megan, who also helped me, went out of her way and was able to get the ring rush-delivered. A few weeks later and after a few more calls back-and-forth and some problem-solving (thanks FedEx!) the ring arrived! The proposal went better than planned, and we arrived at the park early and had the spring to ourselves.
