This place is absolutely phenomenal. First person we saw was the owner who was very nice and Immedietly asked if he had any questions about the menu. My grandmother, who was with us, is a little hard of hearing is quite old school and didn't know many of the food's even the cajun stuff but the owner patiently explained everything to her. In case you don't already know this place is a combination of Vietnamese and cajun and unlike like most joint restaurants this place does it right. My sister got freshly breaded shrimp and fries both of which were excelent and very fresh. My grandmother got a noodle bowl filled with shrimp beef and many other things which was also great and I myself got the combo number one which is crawfish shrimp with side dishes potatoes sausage corn and bread. I had never eaten crawfish and asked the owner how to eat it and she not only told me how to but gave me a step-by-step and was very polite and informitive the whole time. Out of the three spice options (Mild, Medium, and Spicy) I got the spicy which the owner Warned me was very brave to do I myself didn't think it was that hot but then again I really like spicy food and have grown fairly resistant to it. When she found I didn't find it that's spicy she told me there was an extra spicy option available that wasn't on menu so if you like spice like me, its a good thing to try. I will be recommending this place to everybody...
Read moreIf you're visiting Modesto and craving a spot that delivers on variety, authenticity, and flavor, this place is a must-try! Coming from SoCal, I wasn't sure how the food scene here in NorCal would compare, but this place absolutely hit the spot.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, so there's something for everyone. I always love trying fish and chips wherever I go, and theirs did not disappoint--crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked. But the star for me was the garlic noodles--hands down some of the best I've ever had. They had just the right balance of flavors, with a perfect blend of richness and seasoning that kept me going back for more.
Pricing-wise, I think it's fair for what you get--quality, authentic food that's well worth it. I don't know why some reviews complain about the cost; you truly get what you pay for here. Whether you're in the mood for seafood or noodles, Crawfish Noodle & Grill delivers with top-notch flavors and a welcoming vibe. Also, the service is pretty great especially for authentic Vietnamese food (IYKYK).
Definitely adding it to my list again for the next...
Read more3 stars because the garlic noodles were amazing HOWEVER lol the service was great until I realized that the waitress did NOT give me deal that they had of the by two pounds get the third pound free of head on shrimp which is not cleaned by the way and there is TONSSSSS of poop in them. We had to work VERY hard to get them cleaned before eating each one and honestly it was SO much poop that I lost my appetite. So anyways... She still charged me for i all three pounds. I called and she said she did give it to me and I asked her to please send me the receipt to my phone number, she said that she would and then I never got it of course probably because she realized her mistake and that she scammed me. I did however save my own receipt to verify that I was still charged for it. My bill was $80 and on top of that the shrimp was really just OK. I was super disappointed but honestly still will probably go back for those garlic noodles because damn they were good lol and as a professional foodie I have to say to you all ... Go get them noodles For reals but...
