I am sorry to report this Nations is NOT holding the National standard of this restaurant chain. The employees were very nice, but not able to follow basic guidelines. The cashier was very nice and nicely asked 3 separate times what type of cheese my Mom wanted on her omelette, which was cheddar and then received American cheese instead…..my Mom doesn’t like American and answered each of the 3 times asked with Cheddar…..idk if the message relayed was lost at the cashier or mistaken at the cook. Either way the wrong cheese was put on my mom’s omelette. The ham that was in my mom‘s omelette was completely black and a burnt on one side to the point that it was crispy enough to bounce off of the table….. the hash browns were stale and had a foul taste to them as well….once we got the order 38 minutes after ordering inside the restaurant……. We sat down at a table that was not filthy, because most of the tables had trash and dried food on the table tops. My dad‘s burger bun completely disintegrated and fell apart. I am not sure what happened. Never seen this before but watched it happen with my dad’s burger. He ended up throwing it away. The fries were ice cold. Finally, my daughters onion rings came out 47 minutes after ordering them and she was halfway through her meal. We will never be back to this restaurant and I would agree most customers who were also there that day felt the same. I do not recommend this nations restaurant, but please don’t hold it against this chain Generally it is it always a consistently good chain. I’m not sure what’s happened to the...
Read moreI have been going to nations in Modesto on McHenry since they opened I was addicted to their banana cream pie usually it's really really good but the last two times I've gotten pie from them they have overripe almost rotten bananas there was even a banana the string inside of the pie that comes from the peel and first I had gotten out my mouth and when I pulled it out I noticed that it was black and it was dark I took the pie to go I ate it when I got home I was watching my favorite movie and I turned on the light and all the bananas were bad and then I had ordered two pies from them you know a slice of pie and the second pie this morning I looked at and started eating and at first I thought it was good and it was bad I don't know what's happening they're trying to get lazy there my husband always orders their breakfast burrito and so do I usually it's really good but this time the same thing it was like the overcooked the bacon the overcooked the sausage in the eggs weren't fluffy they were greasy and flat I might try them one more time but after that they've lost a customer I go at least five to six times a month just to get pie and eat lunch very very...
Read moreThe first impression, the place was empty on a Saturday night when all restaurants are busy. They don't have drive-thru because they are using old Wells Fargo Bank building as restaurant. The menu has no kids options or combo options, you'll have to pick each item individually. I picked the cheese burger with fries and onion rings. The cheese burger looked more like a club sandwich you make on a rush in the morning from the leftover items in the fridge. You can feel each ingredients individually, none of the ingredients come together to taste like a burger. The burger bun tasted like it just came out of fridge, the patty obviously frozen with no taste. I wouldn't be returning here as I found nothing appealing except the dozens of employees behind the counter. There was more employees than customer at the building but still food didn't taste even okay. Would not recommend this place. I am surprised this place is even open. A sandwich in a grocery store deli has more flavor than...
