Super Gyros — Restaurant in Modesto

I called Super Gyros earlier today to see if they do anything for birthdays. The cook that had answered said that they "would do something for the birthday."

So I take my son and my Dad to Super Gyros just now for dinner. The guy taking our order that owns the joint tells me they do nothing for birthdays. The cook asked if it was our birthday and then said something in his language to the other gentleman taking our order and then the guy taking our order said no and put up his hand and said "we do nothing for birthdays." So i asked my dad if he wanted the gyros plate and then said to my dad that next year I'd take him somewhere else that celebrates birthdays. The guy was instantly pissed. My dad asked if they even do a dessert like Papachinos does..... The owner then tells us we are at the wrong restaurant and tells us to leave and that he cannot serve us. I explained to him that my son is disabled and that he is kicking out a disabled child as well as a man who is a regular whoms birthday it is. His response pisses me off... " I see no disability" so i explain that my son has cp... His response was that he doesn't care and to leave.

Bottom line.... They aren't even a clean place... I hate their restaurant, but was still willing to take my dad there after being told that they would do something for his birthday and then refused to and kicked us out.

This place is good if you can ever place a order I have tried ordering here at least 3 times recently first time called around lunch time on a week day the phone just rang and rang 2nd time I walked in around 5pm and was told the aren’t taking orders even though they weren’t closed yet google says 7pm yelp says 8pm and the door wasn’t locked 3rd time called went straight to voicemail go down to the place and they are closed yet again before their closing time.
