I called for something that most people dont have a need for....small pistol magnum primers. The gentleman ( who was Joe) on the phone was about to send primers back to the distributor because he received magnums in error. He kept a box for me and sat on the balance of the primers for me. When you go to a gun store, you want a certain experience, coupled with a certain level of knowledge and nostalgia... I think you get it from Joe and his better half. I went there today as i have in the past, but because I had my new service dog with me i got told that i could not bring him in because the owner had his dogs in the store as they always do. I was told I could not stay. I left there after telling him it was not a pet but a service dog and went to another gun shop and spent a few hundred dollars there. It took three calls just get someone to actually pick up the phone, and then the person I talked to was obnoxious to the point of being rude. I called back again to ask a simple question, and got the same attitude, same response. If I hadn't already pre-ordered a pistol from the manufacturer to pick up here, I never would've set foot in this business. As it was, I normally spend another hundred dollars on ammo and magazines when I buy a pistol, but I put THAT money right back in my pocket to give to someone else. ...
