I am big on decent customer service being upheld and let’s say they need a lot of improvements. The staff seem nice until they speak in a condescending tone. They are very offensive when speaking about clothing styles even when they are in style. And saying go to women clothes mentor as if I’m old when I’m a young adult! First I’ve heard such thing bc normally get compliments on my youthfulness. Pointing me to go to the older women clothes mentor is very offensive and that they only taking teens and kids. They should’ve said they was looking for ALL young teens and kids clothing otp when we spoke before bringing my expensive nice clothes to them. One of the young ones said looks like something from Belks items as if that was an insult. Shows how immature the staff mind is there and clearly don’t know fashion. Belks have expensive things for all age groups. Even with that I don’t buy many clothes from them either unless it’s in style. So yeah they were wrong with their assumptions bc many of my items was for young adults and for them to say too fashionable according to them. I can tell they didn’t look well in the bin or they would’ve saw that. Lack of taste in style there and the store don’t have much good fashion as many clothes looked too basic, plain, and bland. Was told mines was too much fashion. They wanted to buy my purse but after the insult I refused to sell my expensive piece to them. Also, since when Plato’s only casters for teens and kids. That’s why they don’t have good ratings now and I can imagine the sells would be better if they catered to all. Oh well, other Plato’s I’ve been to are MUCH better and well rounded...

I called before taking my donations. I gave them an idea about what I had. I also once again repeated the types of items in the bag when I brought it into the store. They still took the bag. I haf been told they take one bag at a time so I chose the simplest bag first. Everything in my bag was like new and name brand. I stayed there waiting. I was told it had to do with the style. Then I was referred told, "We post what were taking on our socials." She pointed to a sign. Often those signs are suggestions, they don't mean that's all that is being taken. At the emd of the day that isn't even the bigger issue. I had already told them a coat, a couple other items and shoes were in the bag. I had looked over at the counter several times and never saw my bag touched. I opened my bag after returning home. I was very particular about how I put the items in the bag. The items were basically just as they had been previously as if they had been untouched. They were all brand name and some of them had never been worn outside of trying them on in my home. Maybe this is a bit to descriptive and long and I cannot state as here that it's a fact my items were never looked at. I can say it's quite curious. I can also say that I had given enough information for them to tell me they wouldn't take those items before I even left my house. And then again as I placed ot on the counter. If they didn't hear it, that's because they didn't listen well.

I certainly will not be returning to...

Waooooh...I never feel so much disrespected, the girl took my clothes, about 4 dresses,and 7 pair of pants....she told me to come back in 2 hours but...I did come back 31/2 hours after...I took my time folding and presenting my clothes in a very neat way...I am proud to say that I am very clean and extra neat person, she told me that they didn't pick any of my staff because they were looking for something more contemporary but ...it really blow my mind the way they returned it... it was a totally mess,they just mix and messed up everything ...all clothes were squeezed in a very rude and disrespectful way...I will not spend a penny in that place ever...they don't deserve to be in business, they are unprepared and unprofessional, that is only a place for this people to have a great day doing ...NOTHING. I will never come back...
