Come here at night, you’ll usually get great drinks and good service. If you go to this Starbucks during the morning/day, don’t expect to be treated with respect. I’ve given this Starbucks 5 chances before deciding to write this review. Every single time I go my drink is made the wrong way, regardless of what I order. I get it, it sounds like I’m the problem, but I have never had a single issue at any other Starbucks in this country. At first I’d just take it as they gave it to me not wanting to waste any drink.
After the third time of getting mocha cookie crumbles instead of Java chip Frappuccinos, I started to order something different for the sake of my sanity and to not put pressure on the workers because I know the service industry is hard. They recently came out with new drinks, the FROZEN ones. Every single time I order, my sisters order, or my parents order, we are given non-frozen versions of the drinks. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue except for the fact that we have to wait over 15 minutes for the drinks, any time we try to tell them “I’m sorry but I ordered the frozen version of this.” They argue and treat you dumbly. One worker even tried to give me some other customer’s drink because that one was frozen. When I asked for a refund, she threw away that lady’s drink.
My last straw was when I ordered a frozen drink through the drive through and the worker repeated my order back to me, “one frozen mango dragonfruit lemonade?” I confirmed that was my order but when I got to the window it was the regular, juice-like mango dragonfruit refresher. I told them that I ordered it frozen and instead of offering to remake it, the worker decided to argue that I had not said frozen even though they had repeated it back to me. Same thing happened to my friends inside the store. The only way they seem to get it right is if you order online. Even then, they take really long and are either tolerable or extremely disrespectful depending on their mood I guess. Read moreSince this is the only Starbucks in Monroe unless you go inside Target it’s slim pickings and very inconvenient and the staff is 95 % of the time rude and mannerless. Today my daughter and I chose to go inside since the drive through is usually wrapped around the building. We’ve done this on several occasions and are NEVER greeted when we enter. Today was an exception. We had the pleasure of being greeted by Tyler (Ty). He also took our order for our drinks and explained the different settings on the machine for my whole coffee beans that I purchased. He was very kind and I asked him about the refresher drinks that I see a lot of people order and if they had caffeine. Indeed they do and he offered me a sample. It was the Strawberry açaí refresher and it is delicious. This is how you keep your customers coming and keep them happy. He set the tone and a great example for his coworkers who remained silent and had no manners at all, but they most definitely heard me thanking and praising him and when the barista that made our drinks called for us, I said Thank you, and he said nothing in return . Read moreI place a mobile order for two pink drinks and I got a blended drink that was pink and I knew it wasn’t a pink drink because I get them all the time. I went back in to get the right drink, waited in line and when i got up to the counter lynda the one at the register said can i help you and i simply stated that I think i might have gotten the wrong order because these drinks are blended and normally a pink drink is coconut milk and strawberry açaí over ice and she said well can i see the name on the order and i said yes i showed her that it said my name on it and she just looked at me and said well i guess we dont have the strawberry stuff...I said okay can I have a refund since you don’t have it she said ok with an attitude (in my opinion she wasn’t very friendly or apologetic) then she proceeded to give me the refund she got help from Carolina who gave me the refund and apologized for the inconvenience plus gave me a gift card and said sorry again.
