Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Monroe

Honestly I have been eating here for over 15 yrs and never had an experience like today. We went to the venue and ordered there we did not call in, only to get home unpack the food and one persons food be missing. My husband was the one to order and pay so he attempted to contact first. After trying to explain to her several times the issue the lady only talked over him never listened basically said i never charged u for the other food that is missing so its not my problem and hung up on him. I called back. She did the same thing to me. I called back 5 more times. only to have her hang up on me. Finally I called again. This time I told her of my previous loyalty to the restaurant. I told her we did not appreciate how she was treating us. I told her I would continue to keep calling and holding up her phone line so she could do no other business for the rest of the night. I was told to bring the food back and they would refund me. When i got there she took the food out the bag put it back into the kitchen in front of us my husbands wings were placed in the fryer as if they had just came up as well as the egg rolls, and the rice was added to what appeared to be someone eases rice cooking in the wok. I am not one to really blast places on sites like this, but this was just over the edge for me. I have never had such a bad experience. Then compound that by breaking every health code rule....I have ran...

JinJins is one of the best Chinese resturaunts I have eaten at. I used to write reviews, and score different restaurants all over the United States. I have been to Chinese restaurants in Rhode island, Massachusetts, North Carolina, California, Las Vegas, Ohio, and many many more. I gave JinJins a score of 4 based off many different reasons The quality of there food is very nice. It has a great flavor, moisture, and texture. 5stars The portion sizes are great, enough for two people to eat comfortably and feel full. Although its not the best portions I've had I give it a 4 star The experience of a true Chinese atmosphere, where they even write on original Chinese is amazing 4stars The pricing is very reasonable, and don't hurt the budget very much, if at all really. 4stars Over all I deffinatly would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting take out, and a great lunch...

I have always loved jin jins since my friend showed me this place back in 2006. It's been rated 5 stars by me for a few years now as well. It's always been the #1 chinese take out spot for me. The past few of months (I've tried them 3 or 4 times before posting this review) the quality has gone way down. I noticed the lady who owned it seems to no longer be there, be it a long vacation or she just retired. But that seems to be tied in with the food change. The dumplings are gross now, the egg rolls were so good before but now are just gross. Normal dishes like sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, beef n broccoli have all become bland or not well made.
