ACS Hobbies — Local services in Monroeville

I really enjoy the store and the newer location. Much more room to walk around and to expand their inventory with. The staff have always been incredibly kind to me when I have gone in the store. Always checking up if I have any questions and just being personable and cordial when I am checking out. Very nice people in there from my experiences.

I'm a huge Warhammer fan and am very appreciative that they now carry Games Workshop models in store here. The prices on the models run standard with GW prices from their official website save for one particular model that was priced up an extra ten dollars. Not sure why this is the case, but if I had to guess, I would chalk it up to just a simple mistake as it was the only one and it isn't a particularly coveted model at this time in the rules. It would be nice to see a little bit of a discount on the GW models similar to other game stores and other third party vendors that sell GW products. I think that might also help to incentivize people to buy from here instead of from an online vendor or Amazon.

On a more positive note, they seem to be keeping up with the new releases well which is nice to see. As for the other side of the hobby, such as building, kitbashing, painting, etc... They have a huge selection of tools and supplies for most modelling endeavors. I highly recommend the store to avid kitbashers and converters such as myself. Also, 100% check it out if just need some more plastic cement or paints, as you'll probably find stuff that will help on other projects as well while...

Tony and colleen have a great shop and they have a TON of stuff in stock. Ive taken multiple cars there for service if im unable to work on them. And they come back perfect. Tony can service anything ive dropped of rc cars to hydraulic rc excavator and he will GET IT FIXED. You must stop in and check this place out if your an rc enthusiasts. Also he sells pine derby cars, lego sets, trains, rc cars,trucks,boats, airplanes. And has a big selection of each. Plus tires to screws chargers, lipos EVERYTHING....

This place caught my eye as I was driving past the plaza so I made a u-turn in the mall parking lot to explore this hobby store, because it was new to me. It was a true hobby store! For models of all types to be put together, all the tools, if ur building a miniature version of your town (like in Beetlejuice) THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Extremely fascinating how much they had. So now I'm ready to start a new hobby but I haven't decided where or what just yet, but I will return to this store...
