During high school and college I worked at “cheap” Champs at Century III mall (RIP). Going going gone takes me back to those days. While not everything is a deal, if you shop around and shop the sales you can get a killer deal. We don’t live too far so stop in frequently to check out deals. We often buy a lot to stash for family and friends birthdays and holidays at a bargain. Most of the staff are extremely helpful and the manager is a delight. It is sort of a game to find the best deals and they can definitely be found especially during some of their advertised and not advertised deals. Lots of name brand stuff including Patagonia, Sorel, Cotopaxi, Nike, Brooks and many more that we have snagged deals on. The best deals were on clothing. Lot's for men, women, and youth. Items are marked varying from 40%-75% off original price. Other clothing items (usually DSG brand) were flat-out, largely discounted prices of $2, $5, or $10. Accessories and sporting equipment to choose from as well. Shoes were same as clothing; 40%-75% off original price with some flat out rock-bottom clearance prices. All major brands were present in clothing, shoes, and equipment. Sports team specific (Pittsburgh teams, PITT, Penn State) apparel also had a lot to choose from. I really enjoy this location...Caroline is the best-she was very patient with me and kind when helping me return some items. The only reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pricing is tricky-watch when buying that you make sure everything you purchase is truly the right price.
