Montclair Smoke Shop — Local services in Montclair

I am a medical marijuana card holder that no longer enjoys the effects of THC. I supplement with CBD for GAD and was looking for a local option to purchase vs waiting for delivery online.

Prior to visit, I called 5 other businesses in a reasonable radius that identify as smoke shops/vapor shops. Ironically, Montclair Smoke Shop was the last of the calls I made as there are some locations within 2-5 minutes of my home vs 15 minutes to visit this establishment, which is still reasonable of course.

On my initial attempts, I was met with an assortment of interactions on the phone: ranging from clear frustration that I was asking which brands of CBD they carried, to denying to give me any information over the phone, etc. I was not asking very detailed questions, just looking for names so I could do some research before deciding which to physically inhale. I was able to identify some of the brands as having unsafe wax cuticles, thinning agents, etc; attributes I'm looking to avoid.

Montclair Smoke Shop was clearly on a different level of support and patronage in comparison to the other shops I spoke to. Without needing to press for more information, the guy on the phone explained why he chose the CBD line "Hempzilla", explained the difference between full spectrum and isolate, was transparent with pricing, and did not try to push anything on me. I showed up at the store about 40 minutes later on lunch break. Was greeted upon entry by the owner, Faraj, with a smile and explained we spoke on the phone. Answered all questions I had and even had a informative brochure with a bunch of FAQ's that I was able to take with me. Gave me his business card. I will be back. This is the place to go if you're serious about what you're putting in your body and want to avoid...

The BOMB!!!!!! The chamber of commerce should give a reward in customer service, and professionalism, and display these guys as a model for all businesses to reach success by focusing on client satisfaction. Very warm,welcoming, diverse, well stocked product lines of merchandise,extremely informative and authentic. Telling you folks this is the real McCoy. Everything fairly priced and beyond comparison to any operation statewide. An impressive true gem for Montclair. This store becomes etched in your conscience and keeps luring you back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SMOKE SHOP!!!!!

I went into this shop to purchase a disposable vape. As soon as I got to my car I opened the device to find out it was defective and not working. I then went back into the store to exchange it for another one. The lady in the shop gave me another one (after giving me a ton of attitude). I then opened the new one IN FRONT OF HER. Of course, this one was defective too! She then said that she could only do one exchange. AFTER SHE WITNESSED ME OPEN ANOTHER DEFECTIVE DEVICE. I will not be returning to this smoke shop and I hope no one else does either. They are rude and do...
