Picked up two egg and meat sandwiches and placed it online for $23. Messed up both bagels and didn’t even give me the bagel I wanted. Call and tell them that I want a refund as we couldn’t eat the bagels due to dietary restrictions and allergies and couldn’t drive back as I was already 40 min out. Without looking up the order the manager or owner has the audacity to immediately blame me by saying “what’s the name on the order it could’ve been how you put in your order” I let it fly whatever until he said the reason why I didn’t get the bagel I wanted was bc they were making more bagels ok cool fine whatever but at least give me a call so I can pick out a bagel they did have available or see if I was willing to wait (which I was) once I told him that he goes “to be honest I wouldn’t call to do all that I know it sounds messed up but I’m not doing that” ok so don’t have a menu with options if you’re just gonna make whatever the f you want for the customer? Both bagels were messy and messed up the add ons to both bagels it was just a mess. Initially he refused to issue a refund until I pushed a bit and told me he could refund one out of the two. Then he goes on saying if I want a refund I’d have to go in person to get a refund instead of getting it back on my card. I’m not going back. After reading some reviews, I’m not going back to get laughed at. They can’t take accountability, have terrible attitudes, and clearly can’t read an order. If you are expecting to receive what you ordered, don’t...
Read moreIn terms of the food always great quality and usually very friendly and accommodating staff unfortunately that was not my experience last time I went there with my 87-year-old grandmother they were clearly overcapacity had close to 70 to kids inside mostly unmasked packed in the store literally brushing up against us not waiting in line when I ask the store to please ask them to just back up a little bit so that we could pay without being pressed on or ppl less than 1 ft away breathing people on us at close range with no masks, the younger “owner” (probably a close relative of the actual owners) told me “they’re the owners they can do what they want, and they are not obligated to follow Covid guidelines. Then just stated, “We cant control how many kids come in , for us just not to come in during this time if I don’t wanna deal with this” .. I explain to him that I’ve been coming there for over 25 years even when I was in high school eating there with just as many kids but never seen the store run in this manner. Also the line usually goes outside like the surrounding establishments .. The store was definitely over Health capacity and the person I spoke with definitely cared nothing for observing Covid safety protocols. I believe if the older owner I’m familiar with was there, he definitely would have not been as rude and possibly made the situation more orderly. Food is great but Not going back until they get it together. Highly...
Read moreCalled and ordered my food. Waited in line until it was my turn on the pick up line. The man took not one, not two, but three men who ordered already before me (I had ordered too if they would have bothered asking) because they walked in and walked past me and I didn't want to make a fuss. He then proceeded to try and take a fourth person without acknowledging me and then I had to say something. When I stated I was next he wanted to argue with me. Not the way you should treat customers at all. We all have our days, but you should pay attention to ALL customers not just the ones you remember from ordering vs the ones that ordered over the phone. This also isn't the first time this has happened and they are always a mess with separating lines. It's very simple make two lines one for pick up one for ordering and have them separated to avoid any confusion... then remember to acknowledge customers and have some simple customer service skills. Unfortunately as much as the food was good they have lost us...
