I've been ordering from Enzo's for almost a year and I thought they were a good pizzeria... until now. Their pizza started out very good, then worse when all the chicken of my Buffalo Chicken Pizza was in the corner of the box when i opened it. Then the next time I got a plain pie it was under cooked and very little sauce.
Today I ordered a Chicken Cesar Salad. The first salad they delivered had very BURNT chicken and instead of cesar dressing, it was some kind of vinaigrette dressing. So i called and they sent me another salad for free...the chicken was STILL BURNT and still no cesar dressing. I called back and the receptionist was trying to convince me that the chicken isn't burnt, that's just how they cooked it.
Then I talked to the manager about getting my money back and he YELLED at me saying he already lost money by sending me a free salad and hung up. I called back and he apologized. Then I talked to the boss about getting my money back and he tried to convince me he can't do that, he can only give me store credit because the guy that delivered my first salad had already clocked out...which has nothing to do with giving me a refund.
He offered me to come and pick up my money but he could not refund the money back to my credit card. I settled for store credit, even though he was giving me an attitude the whole time and talked back to me before hanging up.
I have been in the pizzeria business for almost 10 years and I know that the customer always comes first. Therefore this is by far the WORST service I have ever seen. Never order from here unless you want to have your night ruined and be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe decided to try this place since we pass it all the time and it's the exact same distance from us as Mario's in Clifton, which has been a long-time go-to for us. The pizza here is fresh and DELICIOUS (and the crust - A+++), the service is timely and friendly, and you can tell it's a favorite local spot from all the people coming and going for pickups and deliveries. Some things to consider:
I've never had a pizza where they sprinkle garlic (chopped or maybe minced) on it by default - not even in Italy. That should not be a thing; the first time I ordered from there, I kept wondering why the taste was "off" and thankfully I ended up realizing it was the garlic since at first I wasn't going to order from them again. When I ordered subsequent times and told them not to sprinkle garlic on it, the taste was perfect. They put a little more cheese on their pizza than I'm used to, so each slice is a bit "heavier" on the stomach. At first I thought they gave me extra cheese by mistake, but it wasn't. It's definitely "Montclair pricing;" slightly more expensive than Mario's. However you are certainly getting what you pay for.
All in all, I'd say it's worth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove this place would have rated it higher but not pleased with the service today. I called to place an order for delivery and one of the girls answered, she tells me to hold on and puts the phone down. NOW 13 minutes have gone by and I can hear conversations, other orders being taken on another phone line. Finally I borrow my daughters phone and call from her phone, the girl answers and I explain what happen and its brushed off. OH, I CAN TAKE YOUR ORDER ON THIS PHONE AND THAN I WILL LOOK FOR THE OTHER PHONE, she replys. I place my order she tells me up to a hour wait, I proceed to hang up but keep the other phone going to see if she actually looks for the other phone and 5 minutes goes by and of course she didnt...
