Skip to my Brew — Restaurant in Montclair

My wife and I went there during the week of the opening and continue going often! Staff was very friendly, informative, and willing to help create new concoctions to try (I'll mention some below). Coffee tasted fresh and the takes on Filipino flavors were inspiring!

I think what sets it apart the most is the decorations and aesthetic everything from the whimsical touches with hidden fairy doors and doorknobs to subtle fallout and lego decorations, I highly recommend it as a place to just sit and work/relax.

Some sleeper recommendations: -Strawberry Latte - I like the subtleness of the strawberry taste, not too overwhelming, kind of tastes like strawberry pocky -If possible you can ask if they can make a vietnamese iced coffee with cinnamon - not on the menu but depending on who might be there they could do it! (tastes like churros) -Any of the of the flavors of tea are super high quality (plus I think they do refills on the water for your tea...

I don’t ever write reviews but I believe this coffee shop really deserved one. I was in the area buying my mother a birthday gift and I found this cafe from a TikTok search of local coffee shops. I ordered a shaken espresso but asked the barista to add a “twist” and make it the teddy graham flavoring from the latte selection instead & she happily did it for me. Safe to say that this was the best shaken espresso I have ever had (i think about it every morning) and the barista was extremely sweet, explained all of the ingredients that she would use to accommodate my request, and had a smile on her face the entire time. I live 30 minutes away, have been back two more times (ordered different drinks), and the workers and drinks have been amazing every time. I ordered two Whole Milk Iced Vanilla Lattes and each were $7. The vanilla flavoring was weak and the coffee tasted very watered down for being espresso. For this price point, I expected a lot better and can't say I would recommend anyone pay this much for the coffee. I don't think it reaches the bar of other local coffee shops and costs more.
