We made appointment for a group of 6 people days a head of time. We walk in with 5 (1 couldn't make it) and everything started off fine. We were here once before and loved it. They kept taking walk ins and ignoring the clients that were already there. My mother who is visibly ill (she has Parkinson's) got forgotten about! left in the pedi chair with the gel removal stuff on her nails for way to long. Then they finally sat her down.. started to remove the gels, THEN JUST GOT UP and went to another person and forgot about her. 4 people did her nails and they didn't even finish. It was so bad OTHER people in there who don't know us were offering to let their nail person finish her first and then finish them. AND THEN there was this poor women from the back saying she has been forgotten about as well and she had been sitting for so long waiting her feet were prunes. BUT WAIT THERES MORE! The person doing my nails and the lady doing someone elses nails next to me were passing the nail file back and forth... USING IT ON THE BOTH OF US AT THE SAME TIME. I had to tell them to not use that one me anymore, I don't know if she has any kind of nail fungus that's disgusting. They also don't have you wash ur hands while getting a gel so its going to have bumps. The nail polish they used on my toes was clearly old and left bubbles but if this place is new I don't know how that happened. I work at a local spa in Montclair and have been sending clients etc to this place because I had such a good experience the first time. Clearly I will not be sending anyone there, will not be going back myself. This place is unorganized, dirty, cuts corners and only cares about money. What they don't seem to understand is that there are 100s of nail places in Montclair... giving good service is what keeps you in Montclair. I don't see this place...
Read moreI made an appointment to get my bridal nails done for wedding a month before. I had also gone 3 times before to get my nails done for bridal shower as well as the day before my wedding nails appointment to gey my daughter's and my pedicures. The day before my wedding (my appointment day) I was getting my daughters hair done then I realized the timing was going to go over. 30 min before my nail appointment, I called Elite Nails and spoke to my technician Andy and asked him to move my appointment to 1:30pm instead in 12:30. He said it was no problem, it was a Wednesday so they weren't that busy. I got there at 1:30pm and they told me I couldn't be seen because my appointment was at 12:30pm. They acted like I never called!! Andy was right there denying he ever spoke to me!! I was about to have a breakdown because my rehearsal dinner was in a couple of hours and I had no other time to get my nails done!! Thank goodness I called my sister and she sent me to her nail salon, Hot Nails in Bloomfield and they took me and did an...
Read more⭐️——NEGATIVE STARS ⭐️ After informing the lady at the front desk of my request for an acrylic full set, she assured me that it would not be an issue. However, after waiting 15 minutes, I finally see a nail technician and right before he was about to begin, I was informed that they only offer UV Gel services starting at $100 only NOT acrylic, which was not what I had initially requested. It is perplexing why this discrepancy was not communicated to me from the outset, leading to unnecessary wait time for services I specifically sought. I politely declined the offer and expressed my confusion regarding the misinformation provided. Upon indicating my decision to leave, the nail technician began speaking about me in a different language. This experience has left me disappointed, and I do not plan on returning to this establishment...
