Spencer's — Local services in Montclair

I've always wanted to go to Spencer's but I was never allowed in my teens. My husband and I went recently... and I love it.

I thought it was going to have an awkward atmosphere like Hot Topic usually does, but everyone was super chill and friendly.

What I am about to say may upset you, but I don't mean it to. The bald guy (who I assume is the manager) was super friendly and made us feel really welcome!

Please forgive me for being crude. I really, really wanted to leave a positive review but I didn't...

They got some good things and some funny stuff too, perfect place for gag gift stuff. the 5 stars is for one reason only, one of the ladies working there helped me pull a secret mission on my girlfriend, found a lava lamp she been wanting forever, the ghostface one, so I asked her if she could grab it and hide it for me, she did AND she even slid the others back so my GF wouldn't see them there, then she hurried and rang it up and bagged it up for me. I don't remember her name but best...

I really like this store for its products, but the prices are way too inflated. I can find the same things online for...
